The Simpsons.

I don’t watch it. But I like it. As far as I’m concerned, this is a series that has never jumped the shark.

Maybe an episode or two is lame. Happens. But over all - there is a reason this has been on the air for a quarter of a century.

“The show’s executive producer Al Jean revealed the news during an ATX Festival panel in Texas, where he admitted he was inspired to air the dramatic scenes because he felt “frustration” when the Coyote never killed the Road Runner in the animated children’s show ‘Looney Tunes’.”

Take the guy’s guns away.

Isn’t Bart about 30 years old by now, still living at home and hasn’t graduated from grade school? I guess that makes him a pretty typical millennial.

I see to recall he’s been killed off before in a Halloween episode so he could become a ghost.

I am of the opinion that they could create a show around Bart going to college.

What? He was frustrated because the Coyote never killed the Roadrunner? What’s the matter with him?

Superman, Batman, and Spiderman have each been killed off at least a dozen times. The pre-anouncements werev always good for pumping up lagging comic book sales. Heck, I think even Archie got killed one time.

The only one I remember being killed off for good was Ned Flanders' wife, Maude.

The Simpsons- Maude Flanders Death

But there are lots of other:

In-show deaths ...pets hardest hit.

Yes. By all means, let’s play out your childhood fantasies on an entire generations.

What about happen to Bart? How about he grows up and has kids of his own?
