Dolezal is, in essence, no better than Al Sharpton. She is another hustler, lying to those who are looking for leadership in all the wrong places

Before the nation had a chance to digest the spectacle of former Olympic star Bruce Jenner transitioning into a female by the name of “Caitlyn,” another pretender has emerged. It seems that the NAACP President of Spokane, Washington is actually, heaven forbid, white. For years, Rachel Dolezal claimed to be an African American, but now her cover has been blown by her own mother, Ruthanne Dolezal, who informed the media that her daughter is indeed white.

In an interview with the Spokesman-Review, Ruthanne Dolezal lamented “It’s very sad that Rachel has not just been herself. Her effectiveness in the causes of the African-American community would have been so much more viable, and she would have been more effective if she had just been honest with everybody.”

Rachel Dolezal has been estranged from her real white parents for years. She claims to have been abused by her parents, although they deny the accusations. Their real crime is their skin color and any self-respecting African American NAACP leader cannot be seen with white parents!

Why is Barack Obama any different? He pretends to be an American black, complete with phony black accent, when in fact he is African and has no history of oppression and discrimination, and in fact grew up in a privileged background, going to an exclusive prep school with a grandmother who was vice-president of Hawaii’s largest bank.

Fake American Indians (Ward Churchill, Elizabeth Warren) are now joined by fake Americans of African descent (the Current Occupant of the White Hut, Bill Clinton, the first “black” President, and now this Rachel Dolezal).

Now, this America, and anybody can pretty much call themselves anything they want to, no need to prove anything until they run up against some quota or affirmative-action program.

But they cannot have it both ways, authentic AND fake, simultaneously. That involves a dichotomy of thinking that may only be defined in the Orwellian Newspeak as “doublethink”, the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.

Rachael is such a good little liar that she has convinced herself. I think she was lonely, and decided to reinvent herself. She became a member of a group she agrees with, sort of like a nice kid can change from a wannabe pretender to a real live, hard core gang member, with the record to prove it.
