Bill Clinton Is Totally Clueless About the Clinton Foundation

For someone who is the founder and board member of a global charity organization that bears his name, former President Bill Clinton appears utterly clueless whenever he is asked a question about the Clinton Foundation, which has been the subject of considerable controversy since his wife declared her candidacy for president.

Last month, while attending a lavish Clinton Foundation event hosted by the King of Morocco, the former president was asked why he wasn’t defending the foundation more aggressively against allegation of favor-trading and general sketchiness. “I don’t know,” he replied. “I just work here.”

But, really, this article doesn't really make the appropriate conclusion about Clinton being clueless regarding the foundation.

The King asks Clinton a question that puts him in an embarrassing position as to why he doesn't defend the foundation against accusations of impropriety, general murkiness of the way it operates. Saying, "I don't know, I just work here" does not at all mean Clinton is clueless about the foundation, to the contrary he knows too much, but it's a literary device used quite often in which he can end the conversation with undue embarrassment to the both of them.
