Pelosi is already signalling that she and the Rats will support the bill if the GOP gives her a huge new highway bill. The Rats still control the House and Senate.
Since when do democrats care about the workers?
Evil never takes a holiday. This monstrous Bill will be back with even more pork and “surprises.”
So I’ve heard. The full piece is well worth reading. There’s some “inside baseball” in the article that’s fascinating.
But the GOP-e has proven that it can govern and that’s all that really matters. Right?
Did Marco Rubio vote for this bill?
Did Ted Cruz vote for this bill?
Did Rand Paul vote for this bill?
If they did, they go immediately to the bottom of my preference list for 2016 presidential nomination. Whoever voted yes sold out the middle class, and bowed deep to their rich benefactors.
Shame on Paul Ryan, McConnell & Bohner for pushing this monstrosity.
“.....This monstrous Bill will be back with even more pork and surprises.”
This bill never really was about “trade” per se. From what we have heard, it is really targeted at fast tracking immigration issues and I don’t think the Congress even knows what else is buried in another “secret kill-America bill”. Expect much more of this for the next year and a half....
I reckon class envy is not the sole property of Marxists.
“For example, in addition to the privacy threats exposed by Forbes writer Emma Woollacott, Breitbart reporter Alex Swoyer reveals that technically any Republican voting for Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) that would fast-track trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal would technically also be voting to massively expand President Obamas executive authority when it comes to immigration matters [emphasis added].
Classic deflection in your post. I have absolutely nothing against the richest 1%. I may even get there. My problem is this bill HURTS THE MIDDLE CLASS WORKERS. Get it?
If the GOP Leadership does that, it will probably lose GOP support.

Excellent post.
I really dislike Paul Ryan, Mitch, and Boehner.
Paul Ryan made Joe Biden look impressive. His baby Bean comment in the debate made him look like such a wuss. He is a clown show. All of them are.
Ping for later
And since when do "conservatives" dangle a white elephant like a "worker retraining bill" in front of the liberals in order to get their votes?
This whole thing stinks and conservatives need to eighty-six this abomination.

Secret legislation has no place in a Republic.
The Bill of Rights specifically guarantees that:
Congress shall make no law ... abridging ... the right of the People to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
How in the world do you think it's possible for us to petition for redress if we don't even know what Congress is voting on? Trying to paint conservatives with a red brush for opposing Star Chamber proceedings by our putative representatives is despicable.
