High water levels are obvious examples of global warming.
So are low water levels. So are normal water levels.

It's amazing to see how the lake is eating the beaches here.

I went into the water for the first time this year three days ago, it's um, er......very brisk. Normally, this is the temp we have in early June, I've always gone in by mid June in the past and the norm has been that the lake is comfortable to swim in by now.

One consequence of this weather period we're in (sure ain't warming!) is these cold lake temps. I read in the local papers that one month ago the temps were the coldest for that month in thirty plus years. I get the feeling they are for this month too.

I'm sure there's a way this proves global warming climate change, but it might take a while before they can find a plausible theory to sell to us.......

The rise has submerged portions of beaches and washed away past Internet postings proclaiming man-made global warming as the cause of low water levels.

Unfortunately, above average is also proof of global warming, as is average.

It happens here in MD every time the Guv proclaims a water ban: A hurricane hits the coast and drops 16” on us.

Poor L’il Marty. It is so easy for him to look like an ass.

I’m sure somehow this is a bad thing caused by whatever the latest name is for the scam against capitalism blamed for the poor people, women and children being hurt by the weather.

Lake Superior was two inches higher

The total ice freeze the past two winters would have prevented natural evaporation.....plus the record snow fall in 2014

Remember “more frequent and more severe hurricanes?”

Yep. I grew up on the shores of Long Island Sound and we used to have hurricanes every year. In those days, "they" used to blame that on atomic testing in the atmosphere. The truth then was "they" didn't know their azz from a hole in the ground...and nothing has changed to this day.

More rain coming to southern Michigan tonight and tomorrow.

I just got back from a three week vacation up at my parents place (now mine since they are now gone) near Cadillac and they sure need some rain there.

How about trying to send some up there for me? :-)

I like the rain. If I didn’t have to mow the lawn it could rain every single day as far as I’m concerned.

LOL! You sound like my wife, 'creek (she likes the rain). Me, not so much…as it always seems to be raining or cold on my days off. Out of 52 days off this year (through June)... it's been crappy at least 42 of those days. (It sucks to be me…: )
