I guess the reason I am working on my THIRD million (I bypassed the first 2) is because I didn’t hire enough females and minorities in key positions.
If it is/was a fact that a female or minority was making anywhere from .20-.30 on the dollar less than a White Male I really did blow it.
Should have hired the women and minorities and just shoved the .30 on the dollar in my pocket.
Oh well, live and learn..../sarc

Really? Calling either dead company, CompuServe or Compaq, “competition” is laughable. It was wasted money spent. People cringed when she made the deal.

Because most IT professionals are alcoholics or at least imbibe heavily on the weekends. My problem was that I was drinking heavily everyday. I defray my stress now with exercise.
Ironic that someone professing sobriety advises others to drink.
Ironic? Hardly. I didn’t advise anyone that they should drink. In my original post, I said that I find that drinking heavily and burying myself in my work helps with work stress. I advised no one to imbibe.
And did you miss the part where I said I was 7 WEEKS sober? It’s not like I’ve been on the wagon for 20 years, bub.
