I've heard, but cannot confirm, that the ATF has a regulation that to possess the tools that can enable you to build or modify a weapon for fully automatic fire is illegal, proving intent. Which I would suppose to include a Dremel Mototool.

I've also heard that it is illegal to possess both a Mauser C96 Broomhandle, and the wooden clip-on holster/stock because it then qualities as a rifle with an illegally short barrel.

Well, I suppose if such stupidity soothes the feelings of Liberals...
