Kurds Are Surging – America Is Not

A tale of two countries, one spurred to greatness by manifest destiny, the other crumbling under the weight of liberal anarchism

The Kurds are surging in Iraq again. Kurdish fighters are successfully attacking both the Islamic state and other terrorist factions in Syria and Iraq; as we saw with the Kurdish capture of many Iraqi villages two days ago. The recent Kurdish push in Iraq occurs in spite of Turkey’s President Erdogan and his counterproductive air campaign against Kurdish fighters. To make matters worse Kurdish hopes for autonomy rights in Iranian held areas will more or less cease to be an obtainable reality, if Tehran builds a viable nuclear weapon. Thusly faced with this grim nuclear reality the nation of Kurdistan is doing its best to utilize anything it can to strip Tehran of power and land. One would think these negatives would have the Kurds down and out but Kurdish will, national unity, and morale it is as strong as ever, it is just plain amazing. The spirit of the Kurdish people is compelling to say the least.

Often when reading Kurdish news stories one begins to ask serious questions about the will, national unity and integrity of Americans. What if we had to fight like the Kurds are doing in the middle east but only on American soil, with hostile nations all around us and radical terrorists in our midst? When we look around liberal America, our confidence in our local unity is not strong at all, when we look throughout blue cities and towns we see an emerging social condition in which there is little if any openly patriotic national spirit any more, its all green this, or social justice that, revised history lies. America’s patriotic brass bands are told to play quieter then stop playing all together. Or we see open hostility towards America emanating from the left and a whole host of blame America first factions, or factions that despise America. We see America-hating factions on the rise in our Nation. it is a perilous and undesirable phenomenon and it is having serious negative effects on our country.

I think we’d do very well on our own soil. It’s only natural that national will would not be as strong for defending somebody else’s damn country.

America can’t surge; it’s in decline.
