Didn’t Hitler spout off the same garble, fooling a lot of gullible people?

Not really. I've done a lot of research on "Hitler's Religion" for our book "A Patriot's History of the Modern World." In fact, he had in mind a Nazi church, and I have in my possession (or used to, someplace) a 100 page document from Nazi archives detailing the church structure under national socialism. Hitler said, "There shall be no book on the altar except 'Mein Kampf.'" He coopted all the Christian churches and most of the ministers, reforming them into a Nazi religion based on the Trinity, "Volk, Reich, Fuehrer."
I don't like Putin, but there is no similarity.

Under the circumstances, we have a POTUS that despises Christians and supports the killers of Christians. Each day he strips rights away from Christians.
So if Putin happens to stand up for Christians to some degree, we have to take what we can get. It certainly beats Obama.

Hitler scorned Christianity, considered it "weak," and charged Goebbels with rewriting the Bible with Hitler as the Messiah. Any linkage of Hitler with Christ is despicable.
