It’s called nature. I wouldnt shoot the bear or interfere with what it’s doing.

Not sure I’d even be standing around videoing it. Who you gonna call? A dentist in Minnesota?

Nope. I would look into improving my fencing rather dramatically though.

I would have got my 12 gauge and shot the bear until dead. Not because I care about the deer and not because I care that the bear caught a deer. But because if that bear isn’t afraid enough of me or my house and would attack a deer in my backyard then he’s probably not going to feel to bad about attacking me, my wife or any other member of my family.

Thats nature taking its course. If it were attacking a pet or person, then yeah, boom.

Nothing wrong with some predators controlling a currently out-of-control deer population.

But not in my backyard. If that bear thinks that's good territory for hunting, my kids or pets will be next. I'd kill the bear. If there are laws against that, I'll pay the fine - better that than worrying about a bear attacking my family or me later.

I’d shoot ‘em both! Bear rug, deer jerky!

the bear needs to be shot so that it does not return to the backyard to feed... here kitty kitty... or mom and baby.

Unless its bear season and you had a tag let nature take its course. You would be breaking the law if you interfered.

The bear is staking that yard as hunting turf. Yep. Bang. Then put the poor, wounded deer out of its misery, too.

There is, after all, a place for all of God's creatures--right next to the mashed potatoes.

It also depends how big that bear is. If it was a huge one would have to call the neighbor, don’t have a big enough caliber bang bang. Would just piss of the bear.

Colorado? The roads are strewn with dead deer and elk carcasses. Let the bear kill it, and then share the meat.

We would applaud as our excess deer population would be one less.

Dead Bear.

While I’m okay with the Circle of Life, I am not okay with a bear dining so close to the home.

A bear’s gotta eat, too. Besides, I’d rather this than him raiding my garbage!
