As predicted.
Barack Obama is the President who “ended two wars.” For years, that’s been the narrative among the mainstream press and the members of the Democrat party. Never mind the fact that neither of the wars referenced ever really ended. Ignore the rise of ISIS thanks to the power vacuum Obama created, and forget the fact that he started a third - illegal - war in Libya. The Democrats had a narrative to sell, so Obama ended two wars. End of story.
....At least until today. Today we’re learning that the war in Afghanistan isn’t ending, the U.S. won’t adhere to Obama’s ill-advised “pull out date,” and thousands of troops will stay in-country long after the President’s second term expires.
Obama is not in any way a real president, and he did not in any way end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet. He’s trying to lose both wars, but our soldiers are still there and the fighting is still going on in both countries.
I pray that the good guys can hold out long enough for Cruz/Trump or Trump/Cruz to end the wars by winning. Ending wars by losing is the preferred liberal strategy, but for once I’d like to do it the American way - by crushing our enemies.

The second, in 1848, ceded substantial territories in the northwest of the country.
