Throughout the years, I've had the privilege of seeing much in the way of healing.
I've been in meetings where people have been prayed for who walked for the first time, or whose hearing was restored. I've seen arthritis disappear, legs lengthened, epilepsy healed. (It's not that I prayed for most of these people—just that I witnessed these things firsthand.)
I used to have a heart arrhythmia that would occur several times per day. Once it went on for so long I nearly went to the emergency room. Although we were living here in the United States at the time, I was back in London at a meeting where Paul Cain (a prophet) was speaking. In the middle of the meeting he asked anyone who had a heart condition to stand up. I, along with several dozen others, stood. He prayed a brief prayer and we all sat down again. I've never had that arrhythmia again!
I know Jesus still heals today.

Jesus has never healed an amputated limb. It always seems like a mental psychosomatic thing and even then there is no one year follow up. The gospel regarding healing is for the spiritual healing with God. If you think it is for physical healing, tell that to the 25,000 dead Christians at Gettysburg — Go down to the local cancer center and watch that for an afternoon. Stand in the street after a Christian on a motor cycle has been cut in half. This “gospel” leads millions to their demise by failing to seek medical help. IT IS WRONG!!

I believe God worlks through doctors and science but I’ve also seen His work and it’s real. My sister-in-law was hospitalized, advanced pancreatic cancer. She was a saint and many prayed for her. She was on pain killers every 2 hrs, couldn’t sleep, in constant pain. A friend went to the Padre Pio Shrine to take prayers and that night, Mara slept. She woke up the next day, made her bed, and was pain free. She took no narcotics and the docs were amazed.
Her nerve block had been on hold because of drugs but she was able to get it after she was off pain killers. She did cross over about six months later but never had that horrible pain again and her time was good. She enjoyed her family and for the most part felt good up until the end. She looked the same when she died, same weight, and beautiful. Again, this was pancreatic cancer.
I don’t know why God acts when he does but our sermon at church today was on that subject. God’s the creator, we’re the creation. He’s not our friend or buddy and He doesn’t have to answer to us. When He shows grace like with Mara, only He knows the reason.
But I guarantee you, it’s not wrong.

Where in the Bible does GOD tell people not to go to a doctor? One of the Apostles - Luke - was a doctor.

Bravo! I believe this to be the reality. God is under no obligation to heal anyone and HE alone makes the decision whom to heal. God redeemed us through a MAN (Jesus), He heals us through our fellowmen.
you sound so beaten down brother. i pray that the Spirit of God lift you, quicken you. but lest you take all hope from some here, let us hear directly from the Word of God:
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The interpretation of the meaning of verse 11 must be placed into its context, which is about the body being resurrected from the dead when Jesus comes to rule:
1 Cor. 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
For the "quickening" of Romans 8:11 to take place, the person must literally die. This verse is not about healing, it is about being raised from the dead literally, with a figurative meaning of attaining life in the Spirit through figuratively killing the proclivity to employ the literal body in sinful acts.
The proposed outcome of verse 11 is a speculation based on your gross misinterpretation of its meaning.
well brother thanks for your far reaching interpretation. i’ll meditate on it. i admit haven’t remotely thought about romans 8 that way.
but basically i take it that your conclusion about my interpretation is that this verse is not at all about physical healing of the mortal body, i.e., you say “This verse is not about healing, it is about being raised from the dead literally...”
i just don’t see anything in what you’ve said confirming that the physical body is not improved by the indwelling of the Spirit as described here in Scripture. moreover, i see and have *personally experienced* the mortification of sin and the consequent indwelling of the Spirit as leading directly to physical healing in many evident and miraculous ways.

The amputated limb. Miraculous healing, raising from the dead, etc, is based on faith. I believe God can do anything He wants up to raising an army out of rocks, but He usually works to teach us and so if we have no faith, there will be no healing. Jesus couldn’t heal in some towns. Must be God’s rules of engagement.
Thanks for bringing that up though. Good to prepare for the beheadings that will be worldwide during the great tribulation. Hey, the anti-Christ’s beast has a fatal wound but that is healed. So beware.
Actually, the lion share of healing is done by the intelligence and healing knowledge built your own cells.
For example, if you break a bone, the "doctors and science" will only bring together and align the broken bones, but the actual healing which will fuse the fragments into a single functional bone again is done in the subsequent weeks and months by your own cells. That's where the bulk of the healing is done.
For majority of chronic diseases which are not as simple and with self-evident solution such as bringing together the broken bone segments, the entire healing is done by your own cells.
In all such cases the interventions by the sickness industry are merely a self-serving interference with the healing process by masking the symptoms (which are often the internal signals to trigger the self-healing), seeking to keep you coming back for the rest of your life paying their goods and services. Their preferred business model is life-long subscription.

That sounds a lot to me like a bunch of New Age "woo" – that your cells have "intelligence" and "healing knowledge".
For example, if you break a bone, the "doctors and science" will only bring together and align the broken bones, but the actual healing which will fuse the fragments into a single functional bone again is done in the subsequent weeks and months by your own cells. That's where the bulk of the healing is done.
And if a doctor doesn't set the bone properly, the patient could be crippled for life. Also some breaks, compound fractures, require surgery, and sometimes plates or screws are necessary to properly align the bones. Not all broken bones are a simple matter of bringing together and aligning them and letting them heal on their own.

Not always. Sometimes medical intervention is absolutely necessary.
About a year ago, while at his son's house for Thanksgiving, my older brother started having severe pain in his right hand. Then his ring finger turned very hot and red and became very inflamed, and then the redness and pain started moving up his hand and into his lower arm.
When he went home the next day he went to the doctor's and his doctor immediately sent him to the hospital and he was promptly admitted and put under the care of an infectious disease specialist and put on IV antibiotics and underwent two surgeries to remove the dead and infected tissues that were necrotizing and on the verge of becoming gangrenous and a regime of debriding the dead tissues and sterile whirlpool treatments and keeping the wound open and draining so it could heal from the inside out with the help of antibotics.
But the initial concern was not only that he could lose his finger, that it might have to be amputated and he came very close to that happening, but that if the infection would spread, that he might also lose his entire hand or the use of it or that the infection could spread to his entire body and to his heart which would be fatal.
The diagnosis was severe Cellulitis - a severe bacterial infection of the subcutaneous skin and surrounding tissues and one that was worsening rapidly. While they were not 100% sure, but as my brother had been clearing wood and leaves on his property a few days earlier and not wearing work gloves, and in an area were Brown Recluse spiders are well known, they believed the infection came from a spider bite, several of his nurses told him that it looked very much like what they'd seen before from Brown Recluse spider bites especially that his whole finger turned black.
My brother spent nearly a month in the hospital. Certainly no fun for him but he kept his finger, although the tissue, muscle and tendon and nerve damage from the infection is permanent and it will forever be crooked, he kept it and his hand and most importantly, he lived.
But if he hadn't gone to the doctor's, or if his doctor had not recognizing the seriousness of the situation and him not getting my brother immediate and excellent medical care, it wouldn't have healed on its own "by the intelligence and healing knowledge built in his own cells" and he might have died from this infection.
Before modern medicine, people used to die from simple infections, even from tooth abscesses. Thank God for giving us humans the wisdom and tools to develop modern medicine. It is a gift.
It's a plain modern science. The sophistication, elegance and complexity of cellular nano-technology for molecular scale bio-engineering is far beyond anything human technology could match. This is becoming increasingly more evident with every new advance in cellular biology, molecular biology and biochemistry.
A single cell in your little toe knows more about engineering new live cell from scratch (from simple molecules used for food) than all the human scientists and their technology put together. You could create an all star team of molecular & cell biologists, biochemists and all other leading scientists of your choice, and give the task of synthesizing a single new live cell from scratch (from simple molecules) and they wouldn't even know how to build one live organelle, a small organ of cell, let tens of thousands of such organelles organized into a live cell, to say nothing of synthesizing trillions of such cells into an live organism. Yet, the biochemical networks of your cells have achieved such feat of biochemistry, of synthesizing new live cells from scratch, thousands of times while you were reading this post.

That's correct for acute problems with a single, simple direct cause that can be resolved fully via well established methods. That covers minority of diseases dealt with by the sickness industry, chiefly the trauma treatment via surgery and acute infections via antibiotics. Such treatment cure or eliminate the underlying cause of the problem.
Unfortunately, for almost everything else, the objective of the sickness industry is "disease management", a euphemism for masking the symptoms without addressing, much less eliminating, the real cause of the diseases (which is often not known).
That approach is like "managing" your credit card debts by throwing away the unopened warning letters from the bank and silencing the phone ringer to "manage" calls from debt collectors. It may help your comfort on a short run, but you will be a lot worse off when the process hits its natural limits.
The net outcome of the prevailing "disease management" approach, which I have seen unfold many times with family members and friends, are ever expanding series of drugs, each new drug "managing" the damaging side effects of the previous drugs (which are continued for "managing" the initial symptoms). It is a vicious circle optimized to keep you hooked to the sickness industry subscription model for the rest of your life.
To be raised from the dead, the body must undergo physical death.
Even if there were healing, it is only temporary; for everyone must die to enter Heaven. Even Jesus had to die. There are no exceptions.
No Im free in Christ. No legalism.

It seems like it because it generally is that. ...and those who have reported with follow ups pretty much showed there were no healings in the end game.
Of course God can heal as he will...but it’s generally not flaunted before those who aren’t healed....as is often the case with these “staged” shows.
My brother and I did a lot of research when Mara was sick and the trend is alternative medicine, curcumin, melatonin, AHCC and others for cancer. The latest research is focused on the body’s immune system.
This is the stuff “professional Christians “ make their money on. Woody Matin— Peter Popoff. You name it. They make me sick praying on the weak minded selling “Blood of Jesus” oil or “miracle Spring water” “Rub it on and you will be healed!!” these guys are Frauds,in my opinion, and should be exposed — There are many others you know.
