Whether one supports Carson or not, what is going on in this WaPo article is obvious. You have a brilliant black man who, in the view of the left, has dared to wander off the plantation and they are going to make him pay. It’s pretty much the same thing they did with Sarah Palin. She was a successful woman but since she wasn’t a liberal they felt compelled to destroy her.

I asked a frat brother what I could major in that didn't require a foreign language and had a lot of attractive co-eds in the classes, and he said "Try the Journalism School".
A survey course in journalism led to one assignment that required us to create an advertisement. That led to two degrees in journalism/advertising and a successful career in the ad biz.

I’m not a Carson supporter but this stuff doesn’t hurt him, it actually helps him. Any conservative that piles on to the stupider media hit jobs is simply beclowning himself.
There is plenty to criticize Carson for, from a conservative viewpoint. These media hits tend to miss the point. You begin to notice that the kind of people hired to write this stuff are not the brighter bulbs. But thats not new, we’ve always known that.

As a med school professor for many years, the one consistent thing I’ve noticed about successful medical students is their abilty to absorb and retain material that they’ve seen only once. Carson did his part in picking up the knowledge from attending class and studying, but his faith helped give him the confidence that he would do well on the test. Confidence is often as big a part of success as is preparation. A person can be well-prepared to take a test, but if they lack the confidence in their ability, they are likely to struggle and second-guess their answers.
This is a dream. I get that. But, how does one take notes in a dream and remember them the next day?? why didn't he study the notes he took in a real class?
I just don't see how Jesus could help him "cheat". I think it's the other entity who would do that. In my experience God performs a miracle AFTER I have exhausted ALL possibilities while keeping in touch with Him along the way. He then takes over. He has never failed me.
