The Greatest Lie Ever Told - Female Rangers
US Defense Watch ^ | December 4, 2015 | Ray Starmann

Posted on 12/04/2015 8:30:29 PM PST by pboyington

Yesterday, Ash Carter jumped the shark and announced that women would now be authorized to serve in the combat arms and special operations units of the US military without exception. I find it more than insidious that Carter made this major announcement less than 24 hours in the wake of the horrific San Bernardino terrorist attack.

It’s almost like they wanted to fly right under the radar of the media, which has deployed in force to Southern California’s Inland Empire. Carter may have thought he was being clever and no doubt he is under orders from the White House.

Unfortunately, he hasn’t been clever enough. Senator John McCain wanted to know yesterday why Carter made the announcement earlier than expected. There were reports that Carter wouldn’t make a decision until January or February.

An article in the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, which in my opinion is in the hip pocket of Fort Benning, stated that Carter made his decision based on the “successful” performance of the three female Ranger School graduates in the last three months at the US Army’s toughest combat school.

US Defense Watch believes that Captain Griest, First Lieutenant Haver and Major Jaster, did not in fact successfully complete Ranger School, but instead were passed, in order to satisfy a political agenda emanating from the White House.

It is indeed the Greatest Lie Ever Told to the American people.

For those who have not read any of USDW’s other coverage of the ongoing story, here is a brief summary of the Ranger School fiasco until now:

Congressman Steve Russell (R, OK) contacted the Secretary of the Army on September 15, 2015, and requested the Ranger School records for the first two female graduates, Captain Kristen Griest and First Lieutenant Shaye Haver.

Russell, a Ranger School graduate, who served 21 years in the Army and earned a Bronze Star with Valor device, was elected to Congress in 2014. He led 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment during its deployment to Tikrit, Iraq.

The Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, stalled Russell for nine days and then asked for an extension to obtain documents readily available.

The Army waited another two weeks to tell Russell the documents had been shredded.

The Army still refuses to tell anyone what the school’s policy is for the storage and destruction of Ranger School records.

The Army still refuses to tell the media why they shredded Griest’s and Haver’s records.

The Army refuses to tell the media what they are doing with the third female graduate, Major Lisa Jaster’s records.

The Army now refuses to send Congressman Russell the so-called “Green Cards” for the female Rangers. The Green Cards are basically a report card on how any Ranger School graduate performed, in a practice dating back to 1952, the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade keeps a Ranger student’s Green Card, which verifies their attempt or successful completion of the course.

In summation, the US Army has refused a Congressional request for the school records. If the Army has nothing to hide why aren’t they turning over the records or the Green Cards?

They aren’t turning over the records because they know that the records would show that the female graduates did not perform to standards.

Ash Carter mentioned how women would be integrated in the combat arms and be forced to adhere to the same standards as men. Nothing could be further from the truth. Not only is the Army flouting Congress and their own standards, so is Ash Carter.

Carter is either lying or an idiot or both. He refuses to examine the Marines’ 36 million dollar, 644 page study, which in a nutshell states that all female units and coed units did not perform as well as all male units in simulated combat exercises. Carter is also ignoring the Marine Corps’ test run of women at the Marine Infantry Officers’ Course, where women went 0 for 26 last year.

During the Day of Infamy yesterday, General Joe Dunford was not on the scene with Carter. Dunford must be outraged that Carter and the White House will not even look at the Marine Corps’ study.

Carter, like Mabus, like Dempsey, like Odierno and the rest of the fools and lackeys simply refuses to face reality and accept the fact that women are physically unqualified for the rigorous physical demands of combat arms and special operations units. Carter refuses to understand the enormous hygienic issues with women in the field and unable to shower for weeks or months. Carter refuses to understand the indefinable, yet so very important role of male bonding in war, something that cannot be and will never be replicated in coed units.

Carter is nothing more than a minion serving Obama. His decision is not only made on ignorance of the facts and based on political pressure, but is a disaster for national security. We are now at the stage where lunatic feminist policies are going to put the country at risk.

Congress has 30 days to review Carter’s decision. USDW is calling on Senator John McCain and Congressman Mac Thornberry, chairs of the Senate and House Armed Service Committees, to order the Army to turn over the Ranger School records for the three women. If it is found that Griest, Haver and Jaster were put through Ranger School when they weren’t qualified, Carter must be immediately fired and there must be a Congressional investigation of the Army and Ranger School.

There is no doubt that the Army participated in this conspiracy to graduate women from Ranger School in order for Ash Carter to use this as a precedent for authorizing women to serve in the combat arms and special operations.

There is no equal opportunity on a battlefield. There is no equal opportunity in war. To quote, Jack Kennedy, “life is not fair.” In war, we need the toughest, most physically fit men in the combat arms and special operations units. The life of our nation depends upon it.

This story could end tomorrow if the Army coughed up the records. But, they won’t because they are lying.

Please contact Senator John McCain and Congressman Mac Thornberry and ask them to investigate this issue

I am so worried that the men will risk their lives, when they shouldn’t have to, because these women will be a liability to others and this PC/ equality bull pucky may even cost these these women to unnecessarily loose their lives.

I am glad you posted this information. When I was a girl it was important that women who had the ability not be discriminated against simply because the job was not traditional. But putting women in combat positions that they are not qualified for is foolish and morally wrong.

Now that Obama has set the world on fire he wants the military neutered just as he has done to the police.

Who will send their sons into the military knowing they will face this? Not many I’m guessing.

Carters attachment to an ideology fueled by arrogance and premeditated ignorance does not constitute a long period of study and vigorous debates as he claims. This tragedy of women in combat provides another reason I now always council men to never enter the armed forces. Social engineering that amalgamates GLBT acolytes and feminist aspirants everywhere has now become the over arching imperative to which all operational capabilities must submit.

Combat operations entail applying and enduring unimaginable brutality until victory. Therefore, only the highest physical abilities and most severe restrictions on human emotions and behaviors can foster the required high morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion required. Human sexuality simply cannot intrude into this one dimensional world where only those displaying the greatest savagely can hope to win. Resorting to war for national defense entails the ultimate Olympics, so there is much less excuse for merging men and women into this environment than exists for the athletic competitions every four years.

Combat forms personnel into small, rigid, task oriented units. These people continuously face extraordinary stress punctuated by killing other humans. At the point of collision, they face environments requiring extraordinary physical capabilities and unbelievably demanding sacrificial, primitive and intimate relations. Such environments are inherently chaotic and brittle. They can be overcome only by a totalitarian leadership and narrow focus unimaginable for those who see any opportunity for social engineering.

The regimental combat teams for infantry, mechanized and armored units are now the playthings of bureaucrats committed to equal opportunity, and dismissive of warriors enduring the brutal carnage imperative for victory. Institutional memories no longer exist for fighting ferocious, shrewd enemies such as the Germans, Japanese, Chinese, and North Vietnamese, who utilized a full array of modern weapons. If one notes the ribbons on any senior officer’s uniform, they show they fought Arabs the Israelis beat three times at 20 to 1 odds, and never fought the enemies mentioned. Such people now question the necessity of high standards which already allow inferior female performance.

Women not only do not belong at the pointy end of the spear, but should not be holding it to the extent the combat arms must depend on their savagery. As this tragedy unfolds remember the quote that, Men sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

When the Supreme Court integrates college football in general.

IIRC, he also said they would have to qualify using the same standards the men were held to.

Ergo, problem solved.

Great post, thanks! “If one notes the ribbons...” this is more important than most realize. The old guys with the first hand experience are all gone. One doesn’t have to think very hard about what a brutal enemy will do to the women that go into combat. One of my sons wanted to become a Navy seal. We had been stationed at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey and then at Stuttgart, Germany. This was late 80’s and early 90’s. From what I saw then, I told him I was totally against the idea. I saw what was happening even back then. He likely could have made the cut. He had Olympic times in freestyle and was on both the German and American swim teams. I have never regretted my advice to him. There are still great men and women in the military but the “head” has been rotten for quite awhile.

Do you really think this administration and this AG, who have time and time again demonstrated that they are above the law, will allow that to happen? John McCain is near senile and severely compromised even if he weren’t. I doubt he will exert much effort let alone the fire power needed. If the Republican Senators have not already called for the impeachment of Obama can we really believe they will stand their ground now? What you fear for the military has already taken place in the House and Senate - there are only a handful of real men left.
