Go back and write clearly the 14th Amendment, and prevent the 16th and 17th amendment.

GW got snookered by this Harry Reid statement

In my view, the Supreme Court would benefit from the addition of a justice who has real experience as a practicing lawyer. The current justices have all been chosen from the lower federal courts. A nominee with relevant non-judicial experience would bring a different and useful perspective to the Court.

Would W have nominated Harriet Miers anyway ? who knows.

“GW got snookered.”

That is all.

Yes. IIRC, that was pretty much in the middle of his amnesty push.

I'd be careful about that. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on the younger humblegunner . . .

The real story... Those same supporters defend a man who thinks planned parenthood does wonderful things.

But Iran is and always has been a greater threat to US interests. We killed the wrong country.

I don't think the Romans ever managed to deal with Iran, either.

There's just something about the country...

On the plus side, the Persians kept the Ottoman empire occupied with wars that kept the Ottomans from turning their full attention on Europe.

I'd send a letter to Thomas Jefferson asking him to put a definition of natural born citizen in the constitution and to ensure a federal and state process to confirm eligibility prior to getting on the ballot.

Don't forget to tell him to put a picture of The Bird (tastefully emblazoned with the words "To the 2000s Left, Love, The Founding Fathers") between every other word of the Second Amendment...

Man, the Persians have ALWAYS been nasty customers. Didn’t realize that about the Ottomans.

You’d also have to include the fact that we’ve been living under a Marxist tyranny for seven years and need someone strong enough to undo the damage...imperfect as he may be.

Trump is not a leftist loonie. But he knows those loonies are anti-Hillary. He made a blatant play to assume he won the primaries and appealed directly to the loony left to vote for him in November.

Thomas Jefferson envisioned state legislatures choosing electoral college members and the electoral college then choosing the president.

I would buy Microsoft in March of 1986 I would sell it in 1995, I would buy silver at $3.00 and sell it at 48.00, I would go back and watch Kennedy get shot, make friends with some Neanderthals, give a modern calculus book to Plato, defend Julius Caesar from attack and meet Machiavelli. Just for starters.

I’d got to the Monterrey Pop Festival. Woodstock. First Wall tour. Historically epic concerts are the way to go with a time machine.

Saw a TV review in today's paper for a new series on Hulu, starting tomorrow night.

Stephen King's 1963 time travel book. I got that book for $4 Bucks on Kindle a couple of years ago. Don't normally read King but I read that one.

King's version of the JFK murder is a Warren Commission acceptance and the story is about changing that. I liked the stuff about early 60s mores and prices, etc.

I don't have Hulu and won't be buying any new services but the story has potential.
