While I knew Ted Cruz fought and WON Constitutional battles in the courts, I didn't know that the famous Washington, D.C. 2nd Amendment victory was one of them. When he was Texas's solicitor general, SCOTUS ruled 5-4 against the D.C. ban on handguns.

Hope folks will read the entire article.

On the resume scale....I give Ted a “8”. GW would have gotten a “6” in my book. And for the record, I think Senator Obama in 2008 had a “2” for a resume record.

It’s over Sun.

i’m afraid to say in front of my own friends that i’m for Cruz cause i’ll end up in the hospital.

Trump isn’t just another candidate.

he has a following that comes along VERY VERY infrequently.

stronger than Reagan’s. Not in number, at least yet, but in commitment and fervent loyalty.

It will always hurt that Ted could have won this if trump weren’t in it, YET I still remember in the beginning getting so excited when he said what I wanted to hear

then Twitter came...

he wont rule out Rubio but he’ll rule out Cruz? meh.

what the hell does “meh” mean anyway :)

I see it used.

Trump lost in court against an old lady whose house he was trying to take away.

Cruz won at the Supreme Court defending our right to bear arms and have religious freedom.

Trump’s a good promotional guy, good at sales.

Cruz is serious and has walked the walk at the highest level.

Hey, did you know Ted ignored the very Texas case that gave the perverts a right to a marriage license by the supremes? And then Ted slipped into that NO values state of New York and collected his campaign offerings from a couple of ‘gay’ billionaires... Then Ted put on his WWJD costume and went to Iowa and played Jesus...

Ted is the GOPe’s stealth candidate... He is owned by his donors... do you know who his donors are?

As I've said before, Ted is a brilliant and successful lawyer and loves the courtroom. Much like schools teachers and community organizer, the real world of finance, trade, tax law, construction, is a struggle for him. He can piggyback his talking points of Trump's solutions but hasn't a clue how to implement the plan.

It's time for a pragmatic businessman to save this country.

The lawyers, lobbyists and politicians got us into this mess.

So he’s a good lawyer, but good lawyers do not make good presidents. He really need some executive experience. I suggest he run as Texas Governor for a while

He may have "authored" Bills, but NOTHING GOT DONE!

His accomplishments are a big fat whopping ZERO!

He voted for the TPA, which brought the TPP to the floor and was passed. He voted for the Corker Bill. He never tried to stop the MISSISSIPPI SCANDAL/STOLEN ELECTION, and he's now doing NOTHING but running for president for the past year!

Time to put a Harvard lawyer in the WH to fix America!
As an attorney He managed a staff of 13 so holding a nation of 300 million together, almost all of whom personally dislike him when they get to know him , should be a cake walk ... And he did promise not to work with anyone who doesn’t share his ideology and criticize his opponent who did... So there Ya go.

Ted Cruz has accomplished much in upholding our Constitution .

He is the best candidate to get this nation back on track.

We have absolutely no idea what Trump would do as POTUS.

With Cruz we do have a good idea of how he would govern- his life long Conservative record.

Trump has a record that is inconsistent at best, .

And for all those now calling Cruz establishment- Trump's record is peppered with him supporting far left politicians, who, every bit as much, support the globalist elitists and ideas, as anyone in the GOPe. (Carter Clintons, Pelosi, Reid-there's even a Soros tie to Trump).

So for me tne question is:

Who is best to get our country back?

Answer: A Constitutionalist. The Constitution is what makes our country great.

(Also-Cruz just has the better temperment to be POTUS. )

Trump is entertaining, but I really have yet to see anything presidential in him, other than he keeps saying he will act that way, at some future point. (The fact that he says this in the first place, pretty much tells me all I need to know.)

Everybody can vote for who they want to. I'm voting for Cruz - the ONLY Constitutional Conservative in the race.

Hey Sun, It’s probably better that you don’t show up at one of those huge Trump rally’s because Trump has an unfriendly way of telling the staff to “get him the hell out of here”.

Of course we insider Trumpers all know what Trump is really thinking, “ kick him where the sun don’t shine.”

I just checked the FreeRepublic donor list and unless I misspelled your name or Jim’s secretary is a few days behind with her bookeeping, you were not on the list this last quarter.
