The Dumb and Dumber Party bought and paid for by establishment idiots!
The GOP has a death wish. If the good old boy establishment is going down, they are going to take the whole country with them. They want Clinton to win just like they wanted the Kenyan to win. McCain and Romney were expendable and were used as token candidates against their beloved, “historical” Kenyan.
Is the author implying a true-to-life Pelican Brief scenario?
There may be no solution but to let the GOP wither and build a new party from scratch.
Captain Obvious reporting for duty.
Yup. It was all arranged. Jeb was to loose to Hillary. Then this dam Donald Trump came along and ruined the whole plan. He must be defeated at all cost!
It is an interesting construct.
The idea that Scalia was killed to stop Ted Cruz from being ruled as ineligible is over the top.
If that was a real concern, why didn’t the many cases brought up on Obama’s elegibility gain any traction?
A willingness to construct a sufficiently convoluted conspiracy can explain any situation and set of facts.
Bkmrk.
Sickening. The tree of Liberty withers as the oligarchy grows.
We almost won with Romney and McLame.
Cruz will do just fine.
Best guess is President Trump is going to have to make a lot of real good deals to succeed in the US Senate. The worse-than-useless Republican majority there is GONE!! Case in point.....Senator Portman. He endorsed Kasich before the OH primary, instead of just shutting up. He was already in a close race. Now, the dems smell blood and there are some real fine TV ads about how Portman is a job creator, for overseas jobs....NAFTA, CAFTA,,,,,he voted for the whole dang alphabet.
I'll NEVER vote for him, and I don't think I'm the only OH 'pub who feels that way.

Great article, thank you.
Cruz’ presidential aspirations have made him so pathetically desperate to get the nomination that he has sold out to the GOP big money establishment. His campaign is benefitting from a huge influx of money. Where’s that all coming from?
Quite a few Mil if you’d Sell the movie rights for this one.
The GOPe can work with Hillary, after all they have worked with Obama all these years.
The basic problem is that all professional politicians believe that government is the solution and Trump does not. That's the problem for the GOPe, a non-believer is leading!
The Uniparty had the script written back then on how they’d entertain us, pretending to give us a choice, and then that Donald came along and ruined the whole thing!
This is another example of someone who's lost their marbles but doesn't realize it. The Conservative Treehouse does good analysis and investigation of various events that have taken place and they ought to stick with that. Since they've gotten into trying to push their candidate, they are sounding like kooks.
You don’t need a crystal ball to recognize Ted Cruz will be a near certain loser in November. Smart guy, says all the right things, but he has a poor presentation, poor salesman skills, and very little credibility.
If he’s the nominee, I will vote for him. But I won’t invest time, energy, money. or emotion on him. If someone were to ask me why they should vote for Ted Cruz, I couldn’t give them a good reason.
I can tell them why they should not vote for Hillary, but that’s not the question.
I won’t follow the election closely and probably not even tune in on election night. We know the outcome. Everyone with clarity will know the outcome.
