He’s living in the twilight zone. Cruz going all the way to the convention and will be the nominee!

Cruz will do about as well in New York as Trump did in North Dakota. Guess which state actually delivers electoral votes to the GOP ticket in November?

It is about time that the Cruzers and Trumpsters figure out that neither one of them is the GOPe choice and start working together to make sure the GOPe doesn't nominate a putz like Kasich, Rubio or Ryan.

I have no earthly idea what is going to happen. I could see it going any number of ways.

I used to think hilary was unstoppable. But now I’m not so sure on that....though I think she is in the driver’s seat, I think it is possible (if difficult) to beat her in November.

But I stress that I really have no clue as to what is going to happen.....

Until Trump gets a majority of the delegates, nobody will be eliminated. But keep on dreaming.

Trump will not make it to 1237 before the convention. Then all delegates, including those currently dedicated to Rubio and Kasich, will be free to vote for whom they see as the best of the likely candidates. Cruz is way ahead in the delegate placement game for the follow on votes....Cruz will win the nomination, fair and square, in the second ballot.

And that’s not even factoring in the 2nd wave news release of the Evangelic-like Cubanadian’s wild sex life with hookers and loose women...

GOPe tries to shove Romney, Ryan or any other party boy up our wazoo’s and it will end the Republican party.

Manafort all but said this is the strategy as soon as Cruz can’t get to 1237. Then Trump starts running against a contested convention. The majority of Republican voters don’t want a contested convention, even if they’re not necessarily for Trump. Exit polling in WI asked the question for the first time, and almost 60% of voters said the guy with the most delegates going into the convention should be the nominee. This in a a state Cruz won handily.

Running against a contested convention (”Do you want DC insiders in a back room deciding who should be the nominee instead of the voters? If not, vote for Trump!”) is a winning strategy.

Trump cancelled campaigning in a couple of states, including California.

Could Trump be worried about not doing that well in NY?
