Then all delegates, including those currently dedicated to Rubio and Kasich, will be free to vote for whom they see as the best of the likely candidates. Cruz is way ahead in the delegate placement game for the follow on votes....Cruz will win the nomination, fair and square, in the second ballot.
Not likely, as I suspect Trump will find a way to get the unbound delegates to support him on the first ballot.
