Maurice was telling me yesterday that when he was in Share, they opposed giving greyhound tickets to the homeless INCLUDING I MIGHT ADD THOSE WHO WANTED OUT OF SEATTLE!!!
The head of Wheel this woman named Michelle and a hardcore leftwing member of the women in black I might add Says that there's no reason for anyone to leave Seattle and that people who left because they couldn't find work were cowards and couldn't get work because they were stupid.
He even brought it up at a power lunch meeting, the meetings they have every Saturday at one of the churches where they discuss the issues. He said that if people want to leave they should and that Seattle couldn't handle all the teeming masses. He was immedietely shouted down and told by the meeting speaker to be quiet. When he asked after the meeting why this was a bad idea, the speaker said that greyhound therapy was a form of exile and cleansing. When asked about people who want jobs and cheap housing and want to travel, he said that anyone who can't find work in Washington or Seattle is so stupid and lazy that they couldn't find it anywhere.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!? AND THEY SAY US CONSERVATIVES ARE HEARTLESS!!! AND THEY WANT US TO FUND THESE LOW LIFE SELFISH HEARTLESS BUMS WITH OUR MONEY!!!!
Enough! Share Wheel either gets with the program or they're getting the boot! I have word from an insider source in city hall, Share Wheel has by mid june to take responsibility and show effort or they're getting evicted from The administration building. They're gonna throw them out violently. NO MORE SHARE NO MORE WHEEL NO MORE SOCIALISM!

Maybe the chief reason that Seattle, etc. doesn’t have ministries like this, is because they would be roundly hated and castigated. “What do you mean, Jesus matters? You’re discriminating against the irreligious! (Nope, we’re telling them why Jesus matters. Seeing salvation needs a savior, get it?)”
It is a microcosm of what people do with God. If one is bent enough on hating God, God then honors one’s wish for Him to be gone. Of course the result is devilish, but hey one got what one wished for.
He’s right about Nebraska. Coming into downtown Omaha every day, it hits me smack in the eye, the Salvation Army and the Lutheran Family Services (and there are doubtless more). I’ve still been accosted by the occasional lone bum, but 99% of them know where they can go to get help.
Well, fine. If they want to ship the homeless who have ambition and the desire to better themselves to flyover country, they should not object when flyover country ships the homeless who have no ambition and only a desire to get their next fix, drink or bong hit to them.
