Overall, I have every confidence that I am every bit as capable as a man. Overall.
But ... I recognize that many of the areas in which my capability exceeds a man’s are equaled by areas in which your average man’s capability exceeds mine. Some of these differences are based on individual talent and capability, but many are based on gender (the old-fashioned definition of it... biological gender), and nothing I can do can change that, nor would I want to.
I’m a lot more flexible than the average man. I have great fine motor control. My disease resistance is a bit higher, and some of my senses (particularly smell) are better, because I am female.
But a man, as a rule, is going to be MUCH stronger, have faster reflexes, greater endurance, greater aggressiveness, greater ability to ‘soldier on’ in demanding physical situations with less injury and be of greater use to his comrades and the mission. In a combat situation, I would do my best not to be a liability, but I have little doubt that as a whole, a man in my position would do better.
If my more feminist sisters want to bang the drum and say they’re the equal of men in any way you want to measure, that’s their right. But I feel that when lives.... other peoples’ lives... are on the line, they need to either face up to reality or just be told to shush.

Good. It’s your turn to carry the mortar baseplate. The objective is 15 miles that-a-way. Try to keep up. /s
The real objective of women-in-combat is to make the US Military combat ineffective. To so decrease the chance that we would not lose a war against a determined enemy that we would not risk fighting it.
You’re dreaming honey
