Trump could really institute an immigration ban—even without Congress
Yahoo! Finance ^ | June 16, 2016 | Jacob Pramuk, CNBC

Donald Trump doubled down on his divisive immigration rhetoric this week following the massacre of 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. If elected, he may not even need lawmakers' help to act on some proposals.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee first proposed a temporary ban on Muslims entering the country in the aftermath of the Dec. 2 terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California. It was a constitutionally questionable proposal that drew criticism from both sides of the aisle. In a speech this week, he pledged to restrict immigration from areas of the world with terrorism ties....

Trump *has* to impose a ban without Congress, since they intend to sabotage his every promise just because..

Ryan intends to elevate Ryan. Ryan will be ever so busy making an advance run for 2020, as soon as TRUMP were to be elected. Like Cruz, like Hillary, putting together a machine full of money can get you a long way, long before the election comes around.

Posturing and pony tricks come first. Then bang, you think you should be president.

TRUMP will survive only on Executive Orders spent on UN-doing everything Obama pulled off with EO’s.

Congress will thwart TRUMP’s every move, in order to paralyze his presidency so they can convincingly dump him in 2020.

This is why TRUMP’s VP choice matters, very much.

Why not?

Trump has a phone and he has a pen.

When Obama can enact de facto amnesty by telling immigration courts to issue 3-4 year waivers, then Trump can enact a Muslim immigration ban simply by saying loyalty to a religion that seeks to overthrow the government to replace it with a theocratic state (over 1/4 of American born Muslims agree per Pew polls).
Back in 2015, CBS interviewed a Constitutional scholar who said he could do it and the Supreme Court would 50-50 odds support it.

Back in 2015, a liberal law scholar said he could do it.

Summary:
* we banned communists and marxists from immigrating, due to viewpoints, and it was upheld because First Amendment protections don’t apply to immigrants seeking to come
* if Islam is classified as a group seeking to overthrow the government, it is allowed under national security guidelines

Islam is the only religion with the concept of jihad.Liberals and other apologists advocating not profiling muslims for immigration purposes go with the PC narrative that Mohammed meant jihad as “personal struggle” while those with no PC agenda and an IQ above room temperature refer to the inconvenient facts that Mohammed in the seventh century was responsible for the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of nonbelievers under the banner of jihad. Although Islamic practitioners today who believe in the 7th century version of jihad may be a small minority, they are significant enough in numbers to create collective and individual havoc on a consistent and worldwide basis. Orlando, Boston, San Bernadino and New York are testimony that this country can do with a little less “personal struggle” storyline and a lot more profiled scrutiny when it comes to immigration control.

Ryan has two things going for him. He has the support of the USCCB and a boat load of globalists financial support easily and already lined up, who far and away prefer him to Cruz.

IMHO, Cruz jumped the line, no one saw TRUMP coming, therefore, Cruz missed his mark by miles, even in the South which killed him off right there.

So, TRUMP must pick a true conservative VP, who is not milquetoast on the North American Union cabal, and that stinking TPP business and get this pick muscled up to carry on against the two poseurs, Ryan and Cruz.

This is why TRUMP’s VP choice matters, very much.

He needs someone who is intelligent, yet even more unacceptable as president to the elites... I'd suggest someone like Theodore Beale.

I read up on the immigration statutes and Trump can pretty do what he wants which is likely why Ryan and company are having a hissy fit. They can’t stop him.

And this brings up another important point, which I never hear in the media.

Immigrants and other visitors coming to America are not American citizens.

As such, they don’t have the same constitutional rights you and I have.

There is no constitutional right for any foreigners to immigrate to or visit America.

The way liberals frame the issue, they talk of it as “discrimination”, and bigotry and all that. But these people do not have American constitutional rights in the first place, because they aren’t American citizens.

We have the right to set our immigration laws and policies, and decide who gets allowed into this country. The rest of the world does not have the right to set American immigration or visitor visa policy for us. The rest of the world cannot claim “discrimination” if we don’t allow certain high risk people into this country.

They are not being discriminated against under American law, because they aren’t even American citizens. The liberals have clouded this issue profoundly.

Did FDR seek approval from congress before he seized the lands of the Japanese and incarcerated them in camps?

of course, being a liberal progressive, FDR would have probably been more interested in the seizure of large farmlands than he was in sending them to camps.

They act like they’re telling a dirty secret - Trump already stated that a President had that power and where Obama refuses, he would use it....
