Donald Trump says the moderator of next week’s presidential debate is being pushed into favoring Hillary Clinton, unlike Matt Lauer did in the last contest.
Trump says NBC anchor Lester Holt is being targeted for intimidation by those in the media and the Democrat party who don’t want a repeat of the September 7th forum in which Clinton was widely seen as the loser.
“Matt did a fantastic job,” said Trump in an interview with Bill O’Reilly of Fox News Monday night.
“unlike Matt Lauer”?
I guess the author didn’t watch the last pony show.
And Hillbilly still lost it afterwards about how awful Matt was to her.
This is called “preparing the field”.
Trump is setting expectations that the Moderator will be unfair — Candy Crowley pulled out a doc to help Obama, Matt Lauer pulled out a tweet to slam Trump.
It won’t happen again. Trump is just waiting for it.
Matt did a “fantastic job” in order to create the illusion of a fair and balanced press. ML is as left as you can get.
I’m happy he did it. Neither McLame nor Willard had the stones to stand up for themselves.....and they got schlonged.
The first debate is the Hillary Comeback moment. That’s the story that’s already been written. Trump has to be on point.
Matt Lauer clearly favored Shrillary in the last forum, but because he did not do an all-out perpetual ambush on Trump he is being reviled by the leftist Mediascum.
After that, Trump must say that he will only debate Hillary if Sean Hannity is moderator.
Yep. The polls will start to reflect she won the first debate several days in advance of it.
Never liked Lester Holt.
Lester Holt won’t need to be intimidated, he’s a lifelong Chicago machine democrat operative.
Unless she physically collapses, which is seeming to be a genuine possibility. But in any event, Trump is certainly not afraid of her so-called "debate skills."
Too late for that, he would lose a lot of votes if he did that, because moderates would see him as weak and scared to face Hillary, no matter what his reasons were.
The time for those demands was months and months ago, before he agreed to the debate formats and moderators.
Yes, that is the big difference this year. Trump will not stand by and be stepped on. He knows how to turn these tricks back around on them. They are best to play straight, otherwise they give him the advantage and look bad in doing so.

You’ve got to start thinking like Trump. HE knows Lauer was biased. What’s the best way to get back at him? Praise him for being UNBIASED – which would, of course, make the left loathe him.
He wasn't supposed to ask about her e-mail problem. Little did he know! All the signals were that Hillary needed to just come clean directly, but those signals were media noise, not directions from Camp Crooked.
Lester Holt won't make that kind of mistake. He know what is off limits, and how to put (only) Trump on the spot.
Hillary is way behind and her only chance to get traction is in a debate with Trump.
Don’t give her that chance.
If she's lowballed, it will be known and broadcast far and wide.
If she stumbles, same thing.
NO ONE expects her to outshine Donald Trump, so she has to be maneuvered into a likable position by the questions
