Republicans can’t win this year without Trump. And Trump can’t win without Republicans. This is the “kiss your cousin” part of politics in this country. The glue that holds us together is the alternative. It’s the Democrats taking control of the presidency, the Congress and the courts. Republicans abandoning Trump risks disaster for our candidates all up and down the ticket, and for the country.
They were not trying to defeat Trump they were trying to REPLACE him. Someone said he would not be the nominee on Nov 8. Find out who would have been the nominee and you have found your coconspirator.
I heard Hewitt last night in a Salem ad begging people to vote for people like Portman, Ayotte etc. He also said the opposition to Ryan was “overstated”. He says Ryan was a very strong leader and would be so for the next 20-30 years.
Talk about delusional. Hewitt and Medved represent what is wrong with “conservative” talk radio.

Portman, Ayotte, etc. represent more of the same old corruption, fraud and slime in this government. Hewitt doesn’t know the good guys from the bad guys. Here’s a hint Hewitt, there are no good guys.

Ryan is playing the same sort of silly word game that the DEMs and press play. His position in argyument is bogus.
He ran with Romney. It is naive to think that he'd take a position contrary to Romney, and Romney is a dyed-in-the-wool #NeverTrump. So is Ryan. So is Bush. So is Kasich. So is Flake. So is Collins. And the list goes on. They are in the open, and they oppose Trump.
He's still lying. Not that it matters. He's an irrelevant boor.
