If you’ve been watching since last Tuesday you’ve probably already noticed that some on the left aren’t coming to terms with Trump’s election very well. In fact, there is a contingent on the left that seems to be spiraling up it’s rhetoric rather than winding it down. Case in point, director Joss Whedon put out this tweet today:

Not sure if you are serious or not, but Joss is a very talented director, author, screen writer, and producer. His politics are based in the fiction he so dearly loves.

My first exposure to him was listening to movie sound tracks on satellite radio. There was a great song that begins with a little girl explaining “they fight because we meddle. We tell them what to think.” I thought, MAN, I have GOT to see that movie. Sounds very conservative in its politics.
It was serenity, and one of my all time favorites. That is why this kind of surprises me.
