Leslie Stahl's interview with President-Elect Trump
Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes scored the first post-election interview with the President-Elect, Donald Trump. I tuned in as did millions of other Americans to share Trump’s historical victory. I didn’t know what to expect but started the evening with a sense of excitement to share Trump’s accomplishment. But my enthusiasm was soon dampened.
From the opening, Ms. Stahl was cool towards Trump and by the end of the interview she’d progressed to rude, petulant, and disrespectful. Throughout the interview she had an air of superiority, the snobby rich wife enduring a conversation with a commoner.
On the other hand, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it might be.
This sniffling old bag was trying to be someone important...she failed...
I am increasingly frustrated with Trump’s failure to understand who these people really are.
He should not be treating them as though they were legitimate citizens. He should be treating them as the traitorous criminals they are.
She's all excited about HERSELF doing the interview. Grade....Fail!!
Yeh...Barbara Walters was much better.
I like to watch Newt deal with them.
Merely a typical “interview” by a LIB operative disguised (poorly) as a journalist. What a wretch and shrew she is/was. I laugh at her un-professionalism and uselessness. Loser.

Kroft: I have one last question. As president of the United States, what can you do, or what do you plan to do, about getting a college football playoff for the national championship?

I would like to watch Torquemada deal with them. Or Vlad Tepes.
I agree Trump should not be treating them as legitimate journalists. They are Democrat party operatives.

He knows exactly who they are and uses them for the unwitting fools they are. IMO his strategy on dealing with press was brilliant, he plays the game at a different level than even they understand. His Megyn Kelly attack was genius, he marginalized her immediately, she will never recover. He always has an ulterior motive with any press interaction.

She’s certainly trying. She was pimping her book on Dr. Phil yesterday, saying that Trump had telephoned her and become abusive.
Of course, I believed her right away, because media sluts don’t lie.
I am a Trump supporter, voted for him and donated to his campaign.
I thought the interview was fine. Trump has no problem with these lightweights.....its easy when you don’t base your campaign on lies.
I watched expecting to see much worse from CBS... My only comment was why the extreme close ups? I assumed using today’s HD cameras, almost like cranking up his mic in the debates, to capture him breathing... they are still trying to articulate and make something of every blemish...
I liked how a couple times he got in a few points he wanted out there for the non supporters watching that had not heard him say before, sort of additions after her question was answered, where she started to ask next thing and he took control and just kept talking.
