A “government can do everything for you” type is complaining about the cost of government?

“Yesterday, we found out Wisconsin will charge us $3.5M—an outrageous increase from the initial estimate of $1.1M for #Recount2016.”

Should someone tell her that if the money to be paid is by political contribution to her coffers, individuals cannot contribute more than 2k or else it is a crime?

I guess this is different. It’s not going right into her coffers. It’s a separate little kitty. What it really is....is money laundering.

“3.5M is a rounding error for the Clinton Crime Family Foundation”

$3.5M is off-the-books “walking around money” for them.

Pretty soon Obama’s going to step in and send in the DOJ to “manage” the recount process, citing “overwhelming evidence of Russian tampering”. Of course the “evidence” is highly classified so they can’t share it with us, so we’ll just have to trust him on that.

She was hoping to keep more of the money she collected. She’s upset her take won’t be what she thought.

> She’s not exactly screaming. The whole thing is stupid because she’s complaining about how much money it costs to throw away money.

Another liberal who understands nothing about business or how they operate. If you want that count done it requires manpower but if you want that count done NOW it's going to require you to bring in even MORE manpower and work faster and more efficiently.

Liberals aren't exactly the workhorses of our society in general. Some make for decent entrepreneurs but I see far more of their businesses going belly because they don't plan well enough or foresee future problems / consequences or they have business concepts that are outlandish that arent practical or simply don't work.

The Clinton foundation can front the money. No problem. I’m sure the Saudi’s would be happy about that.

What a great word-couple; G’head. I haven’t heard that since I retired and no longer go to New Jersey every Wednesday. Another gem from Jersey, Bordentown area, is one I’d hear from someone having a bad day, “I should have stood in bed.”

$1.1M was the *FEE*, after which the estimate gets made.

She is a liar.

Stein has been a medical doctor and probably made around $100,000 a year in salary. But I doubt if she’s ever had to manage a significant amount of money like this. To come up with $3.5 million....even to me....it’s a tremendous amount of money, and I can think of 200 better ways of using the money...especially for charities or holiday help around the Christmas period.

Sucks when you’re the one actually paying for it, isn’t it?

What in government does NOT have these surprise price tags?
