Petulant Children Whining about Electoral College Shouldn’t Have the Vote
Canada Free Press ^ | 12/20/16 | Selwyn Duke

Now, with liberals having rioted, issued death threats against Trump electors and basically having thrown a tantrum, it's apparent they're willing to storm the walls of the Bastille to get their way

There’s a reason we don’t let nine-year-olds vote.

But what about those overgrown children who are nine between the ears?

It wasn’t long ago that Hillary Clinton condemned Donald Trump for refusing “to say he would respect the results of this election.”

need to raise the voting age to 25 years minimum.

Must have actually paid real income taxes for the preceding five years.

Didn’t you once have to own land to vote?

They won’t move to Canada but why not encourage them to move to California? Drugs, warm weather, cool celebs, and lots of brown people to make them feel all multicultural and mow their lawns. CA is lost anyway, so concentrating them there would be like “Draining the Rest of the US” and would probably turn some blue states red.

Simple civics lessons are no longer being taught in schools, at least the government schools. It was once required that world history, US history, and American government classes be taught and passed before the requirements for a high school diploma could be awarded.

This part of the curriculum has been phased out altogether, just another part of the “reformation” of education under the progressive agenda.

Amen seeing that “child” support goes to at least age 21 in most states; and you can be on your PARENT’S insurance to age 29 in New York.

“Children” shouldn’t have the right to vote.

I remember that.

Civics and history should be a requirement.

How can you participate in society if you don’t know how it functions?

Properly raised children should be able to vote.

Mine always check with me for my wisdom before they vote. So does my wife. My opinion is worth five votes.

But, I do believe the vote should be limited to taxpayers. Those receiving a monthly government stipend, except social security should forfeit their vote until they have been off the dole for a year.

Definitely, but for those “children” whose (usually) moms getting “child” support for them, they should not be allowed the vote either.

These children are usually being raised by “single soccer” mom who is inherently pro lib.

Yes..you did have to be a landowner in order to vote.

I don’t like renters, in that they can vote for tax increases, and if things get too hot for them ,they can just leave. They don’t have to try to sell their real property with those high taxes levied on them. The land owner is stuck with that.

That’s what happens when they stop teaching about the Constitution, the Amendments, The Bill of Rights, and especially the Electoral College in school - much easier to corrupt the minds of the uneducated.

Four or more acres would be a good requirement for voting eligibility— liberal heads would explode around the world.

Your wife and children should be able to vote without your wisdom.

Just sayin’.

Just sayin, it’s better to increase your influence by being a good husband and father. If my wife voted differently than me, why bother.

They seek my counsel, I don’t require them to vote my way.

However, when they call and say, are these the best candidates, and I give them my opinion, what’s wrong with that?

Nothing at all. I read that they were relying on you to tell them how to vote.

My mistake.

We make fun of my liberal daughter. And then she catches herself defending conservatives to her friends. She just cannot shake it.

That’s perfect. Maybe she’s the embodiment of the quote attributed to Churchill about a person at 20 who’s not a liberal doesn’t have a heart and a person who’s not a conservative at 40 doesn’t have a brain.

Keep it up.
