Message to new ‘welcoming’ towns: get out your wallets for your school system!

This is yet another story from Rutland, VT where citizens and elected officials have been questioning a resettlement contractor (USCRI) and the federal government for months about the details of the US State Department’s decision to send the FIRST 100 Syrians there perhaps next month!

Board of Aldermen President William Notte wanted to know about school funding if the refugee children arrive in the middle of the school year.

Miriam Ehtesham-Cating, the English language program director for the Burlington School District, said the focus needs to be on elementary and high school kids, in keeping with the federal government’s requirements for English language learning.

“Vermont and the federal government have a strict regulatory process for identifying English language learners, and providing language assistance,” Ehtesham-Cating said.

In addition, since schools are required to send materials home to students and parents in a language they can understand, Rutland schools will need to offer some sort of translation services.

The commies in Vermont have been demanding that Obama bring in more muslimbs to the USA.

Vermont should now be FORCED to take ALL the muslimb refugees, every single one of them.

There was a time when Rutland VT was best known for being the head office of Charles Tuttle, the publisher of Japan-based books.
Natsukashii (Japanese for “I miss those days”).

Easy short term penalty for sanctuary cities and towns. Unless documentation of legal status is provided the DoE and Dept of Treasury will provide zero funds for Title I and ELL instruction to any school district in the confines of the sanctuary providing govt.

This was the plan all along. Enslave the natives to the “immigrants.”

Soon old people will be driven out of their homes for failure to pay property taxes, and the homes will be given to “immigrants” gratis.

Rutland is known for their drug problems and other issues. This will just finish destroying what was a nice town, when I was growing up.

With all due respect to mom & pop, if parents in Rutland, VT had been making sure that their children were being taught the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers as the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood, then school children would probably be able to point out the following.

The corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds have no constitutional authority do what they are doing with refugee children.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

Patriots need to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.
