I don’t understand how someone can go there entire life without discharging a firearm. My parents taught me and all my siblings when we were big enough to hold it up. By age 10 I fired more rounds than most soldiers and by 14 I had 6 of my own guns

Being a young lad from an East Coast suburb I had never even seen a firearm, let alone fired one, before I got to BCT in the late 60’s.To my surprise I loved rifle range from the first moment we got there.Didn't do too badly for a city boy,either...just 2 points below “expert” qualifying with the M-14.

I have a pump shotgun, a 30-06, a .22, an SKS and a .380.
Aproximate number of rounds I’ve put through these guns:
40 rounds through the .22.
2 rounds through the 30-06.
16 through the shotgun
30 through the .380 (I had to because I used it to get my CC)
20 through the SKS.
I have the guns, but shooting them is really boring. Well, sort of. Shooting at animals IS really fun, but as you can see, I don’t do it much.
I think guns are important, but I see them as simple tools and not really a form of entertainment. I think of shooting on a range as something I do to get proficient in their use. Just doing it for fun is, to me, like pounding nails into 2x4’s for fun. But then, I know there are things I do for fun that other people don’t see as fun at all.
The only reason for this diatribe above is to say that I kinda bristle when they compared shooting guns to being a boy rather than a man.

These snowflakes are still snowflakes. I’d rather they didn’t shoot until they stopped acting like children. It’s a weapon, not a toy.

"The experience didn't turn us into men, it turned us into boys." Yes, guns are often called "big boy toys."
They've also probably heard the term "man up." They should try that sometime too.

I really hope that no one stamped these nancy-boys' Man Card, just 'cause of this one incident of adrenaline and testosterone sampling.
And, I hope they don't give up their day jobs...whatever swishy activity it may be.

I'm not gonna click on the clickbait link today but frankly my gaydar is going off from the picture of that dude and from the stuff he and his buddy are quoted as saying in your original post.
Guns aren't toys. Or maybe they are. Guns aren't sex toys for gay people, or maybe they are. It appears though that guns certainly are props for the immature and the vain among us.
Don't you have homework to do?
Do your parents know about all this clickbait that you post here?

"[BOOM] OOOHOHOH. I feel that power!" "It's like I'm turning into an animal!" . . . ad nauseum.
What these Lefties are doing is promote their meme that a firearm is more than an inert device - it gives one power like that ring in Lord of the Rings.
The italicized line above reminded me of a long-ago Playboy anti-gun article on why people shouldn't have guns. The technique was very similar to this. The writer picks up a gun and . . ."I could feel the power creeping up my arm, growing with every second, and after a few moments, I FELT LIKE A GOD!"
I wrote back that sane guys pick up a gun, check to see if it is loaded, admire the heft and workmanship and maybe do a bit of aiming or dry firing in a safe direction. I further agreed with him that people shouldn't own firearms if they had the same reaction he did, which was totally atypical.
This is damning with faint praise.

What a bunch of fags. That limp wristed thing must be caused by something out in California because we just dont see it much in these parts. No way I would be on a range with any of them hootin' and hollering like a bunch of wimpy little snowflakes. It was a good thing that they they all got a dose of testosterone even thought they had no idea what to do with it.
