Trump Could Simply Ignore Court’s Order Halting Travel Ban

Betrayed the letter and spirit of our nation's founding: Allowed the courts to run amok. We can continue drinking the judicial-supremacy Kool-Aid, committing national suicide, or we can drain the swamp infested with with black-robed tyrants

Does our current status quo make our Constitution a suicide pact? Thomas Jefferson certainly said as much, warning that accepting judicial supremacy would make our founding document just that, a felo de se, as he put it in Latin.

Acceptance of judicial supremacy, by the way, is precisely why President Trump’s temporary ban on immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations is on hold. Imagine that, Alexander Hamilton wrote in The Federalist, No. 78 that the judiciary is the “least dangerous” branch of government because it “has no influence over either the sword or the purse,” yet it’s trumping the man with the sword, the president. But does it have to be this way?

True, but it’s better for him to let this play out imo. After is reaffirmed that POTUS has the authority to rule over all things immigration, these tech companies won’t be able to do a thing when Trump starts enforcing H-1B visas and illegal alien laws.

Trump’s going to take it all the way to the supreme court first. Make no mistake, the courts orders are utterly unconstitutional and the courts are exposing themselves as completely illegitimate institutions by their actions.

Today, President Donald Trump invited the nation’s Sheriffs and Cops to call the Homeland Defense Hotline with the names of the bad gang members and other bad actors in their counties.

Now, the draining of the swamp begins on a whole new level. It is going to be a decentralized effort that, when reported, will enhance the status of local news media, and decrease the influence of the Establishment Media.

As Andrew Jackson said “They’ve made their decision- now let them go enforce it”

there is much more to this than what appears on the surface. I don’t really want to say what all it could be becaus it’s a public forum.

I agree he has the authority in this instance to ignore the courts; and maybe should, for the sake of preserving the power of the executive.

BUT, there are those eager to seize upon anything to launch an impeachment. We don’t need that distraction right now. We have too many things to do to MAGA.

So let’s choose our battles carefully.

This on? Not now, imho. Even though we are right.

Let’s drain the swamp first.

I think there is merit in doing it that way, as the brute-force approach will provoke a constitutional crisis and do nothing to resolve the underlying conflict. Taking it to the Supreme Court will do so and set a precedent.

Nor am I worried that SCOTUS will uphold the ban, because they know if they try something that unconstitutional that Justice Gorsuch will soon be seated and all it will take is a second case to put things right.

That’s probably how Trump sees it. Hope that you and Trump are right.

You could regard this court case as a trap to lure Trump into a situation where the Dems will claim “high crimes or misdemeanors”. They might think it useful for their 2020 campaign.

Ultimately, though, Trump or Congress needs to put an end to legislation from the Bench. Making up new laws is not the purview of the courts.

Trump could ignore the ban. And then all the Obama-hires in DHS would ignore Trump’s orders, citing the court decision.

Just heard Rush say 100 Syrians were let in yesterday. They were vetted by the United Nations.

I would love to see some US Marshals show up and arrest these liberal judges for Contempt of the Presidency.

President Trump is enforcing federal laws, already on the books, that his predecessors refused to enforce. Some pissant judge from Seattle has no standing whatsoever in this matter. If these judges want to legislate, then tell them to hang up their black robes and run for congress, otherwise they need to back off and let the executive branch do its job, which is ENFORCING THE LAW.

Even if Trump gets railroaded he has many other options.
For one just write another EO.
I would add Saudi Arabia just to get the left’s goat.:)

100 Syrians let in by the Trump State Department, still full of Obama seditionists.

Trump Could Simply Ignore Court’s Order Halting Travel Ban

This is a serious question...

Does anyone know of a compilation of all the Constitutional principles, laws, policies, traditions, court orders, that Obama violated?
There must be hundreds (thousands?)

Or know of a single competent and effectual National Security order that OBAMA has ever issued?

The long view is that about a few days before Donald Trump announced he was running for President of the United States, President Obama decided unilaterally to make an ‘Iran Deal’ and asserted it would go through the UN.

Eric Trump is on record as saying that the Iran Deal was the straw that broke the camel’s back in his father’s decision to run.

Now, less than two years later, Iran is pursuing nuclear warhead technology and is firing ballistic missiles in a run up to launching nuclear-tipped missiles.

All of this made possible by untold billions and billions given to Iranian crazies.

President Trump correctly saw that world stability was on a path to crumbling and that American lives would soon be at risk. He also knew that terrorist nations and groups would do everything they could to destabilize his term just as they did to President GW Bush.

So it logically followed that measures needed to be taken to have ‘extreme vetting’ of persons coming from known terrorist regions.

And here we are today with the most asinine judges and pols, along with their anarchist thugs, trying their damnedest to cause President Trump to stumble.

It is to the credit of Trump supporters that they have been so reasonable and restrained.

But this situation cannot go on for much longer.

:: but it’s better for him to let this play out imo ::

But, as DJT might let this “play-out” how many enemies of the US and the citizens will arrive in the US?

DJT should be exercising his prerogative to suspend ALL visas of entry into the US, regardless of origin.
