YES <<<<<< especially the ones demanding a $15.00 an hour wage . They will be the easiest to replace ,,,, I’ve already seen a robot that cooks burgers and flips them over etc. Perhaps when I go to Mickey D’s then the burger will actually be centered on the bun .

We need people in congress.
People die, people sleep, people have doubts, people can be forced to do the right thing out of self interest.
Congress itself takes a lot of breaks and cannot harm us during this time.
Machines could run 24/7/365 and really fuch things up quickly and severely.

"How that change will impact our economy is the million dollar question."The only to create wealth is to produce things that cost less to produce than they are worth. If robots can do that, they have the potential for generating great wealth.
Wealth is good for everyone. The Scrooge McDuck version of wealth, where the rich spend their time on bulldozers pushing piles of gold into their vaults works only for those with the minds of children. Real wealth is put back into the economy and everyone benefits. Real wealth is not created by hiring some to dig holes, and then hiring others to fill the holes.

Years ago I read a book (can't now recall the title) that described what was evidently an experiment conducted in England during WW II. Low-normal people (morons) were put on assembly line work because of the shortage of labor. They did very well at the monotonous, repetitive tasks they were given. The thrust of the book was, what happens to normal people who do this mindless, repetitive work? Do they become "moronized?" Maybe robots should replace humans in this kind of dehumanizing work.

Remembered the name of the book. "The Making of a Moron." Apparently out of print and not even available from Amazon.
