In late March, 3 masked teens were shot dead after breaking into a private residence in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The homeowner’s son—Zach Peters-- heard a commotion coming from the living room. Fearing for his father’s safety, he grabbed his rifle and shot the 3 intruders. Each was pronounced dead at the scene.
These are the principal facts as they took place at the Peters’ residence. But NBC News apparently believed this information was not quite instructive enough for its viewing audience. So the network decided it must embellish the story; that is, educate viewers about the evils of the AR 15, whether it is used in self-defense or as the weapon of mass murder everyone at NBC knows it to be.
And the network’s assault on the “assault” weapon began with the title of the story by Avalon Zappo:

Can anyone tell me what the type of rifle has to do with a shooting which police and the D.A. have classified as self-defense?
The author continues with: “The AR-15 was the weapon used in mass shootings such as Newtown, the Aurora movie theater in Colorado and San Bernardino.”
It appears that author Zappo is a little confused. In the case of Zach Peters, the rifle was used by the victim of the crime, not the perpetrator[s]. Indeed, acting in self-defense, Peters shot 3 masked individuals who broke into his home. How do his actions compare in ANY WAY with those of the lunatics who committed murder in Newtown, San Bernardino or at the Aurora Movie Theatre?
Why did NBC News decide to put Mr. Peters on trial for his choice of...

Self-defense has long been offensive to libtards so it’s no surprise that they’d hate someone who killed three criminals instead of dying like NBC would prefer.
Just make it Illegal for any recipient of an FCC Broadcast License to have ANY Firearm, Ammunition, or Weapon on the Property At ANY TIME.

Our masters insistence that I don’t need an Ar-15 convinces me that I do need one.
NBC would criticize any self-defense, be it a S&W 686 wheel gun or a baseball bat.
The thieves are impoverished victims, needing sympathy and understanding.
The homeowners have unjustly enriched themselves and deserve to be reduced to poverty.
That’s what caused me to buy one before the election.
My preferred weapon for home defense is a shotgun which would make them just as dead. With more holes in them.
The shooter could have used an M60,for all I care.He exercised his second amendment right and the rounds went down range in the correct manner.

If he clubbed them to death using an AR-15, would they still mention it or would they say he used a blunt instrument?

I would suggest all who haven’t purchased a firearm do so with a moderate amount of ammo NOW and not wait for the next personal, local, or national emergency.
There will be a time “again” when such a tool will be a deterrent or solution to criminal activity.

NBC? Are those Azzhole still in business? Won’t be for much longer. Only until Lib money runs out. Not many thinking folks watch that “fake news” site/channel any more.

We need to understand that we, the right-wing white middle class males and our companions/supporters/families are the designated enemy of the Left. We can do no right, and anything we do will be construed as wrong. Matters not that we tolerate a broad range of sociopolitical views (”I may not like what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it”), are completely color-blind, and treat women with tremendous respect & equality (ignoring any objective difference which doesn’t matter, but noting that sometimes objective differences (like plumbing) DO matter) ... we have had it made completely clear that we can submit completely to the Left’s demands and STILL will be demonized in every way possible (culminating in HRC’s “deplorables” comment, veiled yet clear).
Per my tagline, the Left needs an enemy to wage “revolution” against, and has designated us* the enemy they need.
* - by “us” I only apply the designated “them” the Left has defined & designated us as; I’m not unilaterally excluding anyone.
