There is an alarming number of people who can read “1984” or “Animal Farm” or “Atlas Shrugged” or even “The Hunger Games” and not see themselves, but rather they see us. How that flying backflip of logic is accomplished is beyond me, I guess because I was schooled in and accept logic. They don’t. But, don’t be surprised for “1984” comparisons to fall on deaf ears with the left. They’ll never understand it. They’re incapable.
It’s next on my reading list...a great number of people have told me the same thing.
I guess the point I was trying to make was that the racist witch hunt taking place today is a modern equivalent of how the left *portrays* McCarthyism...exposing their own hypocrisy. The same people who complain about the dark ages of a national witch hunt are the same ones creating an even darker age of a national witch hunt.
As I pointed out in the last paragraph, if given the choice between freedom or smart phones/facebook, I shudder to think of what most Americans would choose.

This is the only explanation I can come up with for the Lft/Islam alliance. Both want total control of lives and to exercise total control of society.
