DU degraded into a Hillary cult in 2016 after Sanders started to gain traction and threatened to derail her campaign.
If I understand the way they think it goes something like this:
“Conspiracy theorists are crazy people.”
“Trump and his gang are engaged in a conspiracy to turn the country into the Fourth Reich.”
“Therefore I am a crazy person.”

The incredibly long period of time it takes for these cases to wend their way through the court system is part of the injustice.
Nothing in the three long paragraphs tells us very much about the issue. Why can’t writers state in 25 words what the headline is all about? Specifics.
This article is a mixed bag. Well, it would be - it’s a pro-Sanders (IOW, socialist) screed. Its discussion of “the press” is spot on: Contrary to what they would have us all believe, these corporate media giants are not “the press”. They are a part of the press, and enjoy First Amendment protections for that reason, but they are not the press. The press also includes smaller outlets, alternative media, and all the bloggers and Youtubers who produce infinitely superior news coverage to anything the mass media propaganda machine is cranking out, yet are forbidden to ever take part in White House press conferences. While these thin-skinned megacorporations are crying about Trump’s latest tweet, those of us in the alternative media are trying to direct the American people’s attention to a lawsuit that presents a very real opening for the possibility of some semblance of actual democracy in the future.I don’t think the author of this piece has fully thought out the implications of having political parties. The Framers didn’t want them, but they seem to be essential. And yet, if you just say, “Let’s have two parties, and let the people select the nominees for those parties,” you have no mechanism by which those two parties establish themselves as having meaning - they are not Party A and Party B, they are Party Red and Party Blue. So which party do you associate with??? Or do you associate with both?The parties have to have ways of defining themselves, and differing charters. You can’t just have Party Red and Party Blue, with no distinguishing membership characteristics. That’s why “Open Primaries” are an abomination. ‘Course what you get with the “Democratic” Party is the same sort of hierarchical structure you have in the Republican Party - inevitably, according to Michels' Iron Law of Oligarchy. What the author of this piece inveighs against is they hypocrisy which that entails, given that the charter of the “Democratic” Party is - democratic.
