Free Republics rules on what can an can not be posted in full
That is only "somewhat" correct.
The FR posting guidelines specify excerpts only for those sites who have insisted on them, in effect saying that their content may only be used to drive hits to their site.
Friends of this site share their content freely.
But that is clearly not your intention.
Your posting history clearly shows that you're only here to drive traffic, not to actively engage with other FReepers.
Okay, quote what and why, provide a link.
Stop the presses!
Break out the champagne!
Circle the wagons!
Declare a holiday!
Still the winds and the waves!
Sean Anthony breaks his decades old silence on FR!!!
Either that or his bot forgot which ID it was running under and requires a software update...
Sorry, but FR imposes limitations only when it has a specific request from a source to either allow no posting (such as Getty), link-only posting (such as Bloomberg), or excerpt posting (such as the Washington Post). It's up to the website Canada Free Press to tell FR that entire article posts are not allowed, and I don't recall such a request, and I've been a mod for nearly ten years. Don't blame us for your posting excerpts.
Well hello there.
Admin Moderator called you out on this mistaken assertion; but that's as may be.
The important thing is you actually posted a comment.
Of course, what you said....
After 13 years, we FINALLY get a response out of Sean_Anthony! Oh, this is a Red Letter day!
After 13 years, you finally deign to grace this forum with a comment, but it's only to complain that someone saved the readers the trouble of clicking through to your website.
How utterly revealing.
