Goodboy_mentor at indiansforguns.com says the pistol used was the .32 Ashanti. He has been quite knowledgeable about Indian affairs in the past.
Indian journalists aren’t any better than ours at identifying firearms....................
Thanks for the interesting post.
Brave young lady. If she had lived in Texas, she might have shot for more than their feet.
She probably rescued him because he finally just got a job.
And the winner of the Bad Bad Leroy Brown award goes to....
She’s a woman of few words. /s
The pistol she’s waving in the video looks very much like the Walther PK380. The IOF .32 Ashanti looks like a 1910 FN (Browning).
Is a top break revolver - based on Webley revolvers in
32 S & W Long caliber
Costs like equivalent of $1200 - in India almost impossible

Another poster at indiansforguns.com translated part of the video. He says that in it, she says the pistol she used was similar to the gun in her hand.
It would almost certainly be the Ashani .32 semi-auto.
There are a couple of Webley type .32 S&W long revolvers available in India, and they are expensive, but she apparently used the Ashani, which is listed at 25,000 Rs, or $388 at current exchange rates.

This informative video about the Ashani says it costs 90,000 rupees, or about $1,400 dollars!
The workmanship is not very good.
