All of us can write notes for meetings on our calendars 3-5 months back or longer. This is hearsay BS.
Funny how different people watch the same thing but come to different conclusions. I saw only part of the hearings, but from what I saw and have read here and from what a close friend who watched the whole thing saw, we concluded that J. Comey was a loser and D. Trump won. As you pointed out, if there were tapes, there would be no need for notes.
The media, however, saw this quite differently. Judge Napolitano really went off the rails. Perino made foolish comments. And the superlatives the anchors used! From now on it's mainly Hannity, Judge Pirro, and Lou Dobbs and FOX business news for me.

The leaks were lies. Nobody needs to leak their notes because there are tapes. Makes zero sense. This guy just admitted we have a special counsel because of his leaks, lies and crimes.

Why did Comey give his friend the Memo to leak, unless he was afraid it could be traced back to him...
So when Comey assured Trump that he would give him his “honest loyalty” he lied.
He then went behind his back and leaked to the NYT to try to get a special prosecutor appointed against Trump.

Comey LIED UNDER OATH about the reason and timing of his leaked memo. He said he gave the memo to his friend because of a tweet that President Trump had sent out, defaming him and the FBI.
......except that it is a matter of public record that the NY Slimes was already reporting on the leaked memo the DAY BEFORE President Trump made the alleged tweet. Comey therefore LEAKED CLASSIFIED INFORMATION and then LIED about it while UNDER OATH before the Senate.
Comey proved today that he is a lying, cowardly drama queen and President Trump was absolutely right when he fired Comey.

On Reddit they’re claiming the tweet about tapes came out *after* Comey leaked. If that’s true he lied under oath.

Exactly, his memos obviously contain material helpful to Trump - a lot of it - and he deliberately leaked only two harmful sentences as well as some lies to get vengeance.
When you leak something to get a special prosecutor in place who is your buddy appointed by a guy in the Justice Department who was an Obama guy....is it not a dem conspiracy to take down a sitting president from the other party?
