I am guessing the ABC story was leaked out of the Mueller camp. Some respected organizations are now questioning what Mueller is up to, such as The Wall Street Journal. Some in the law school professoriate are questioning all this. If he is doing what the Comey leakers are saying it is unprofessional if not illegal and totally political. It is beginning to tarnish his tiara.

Mueller and Comey may be BFF's but a Washington knife-fighter won't let another of his ilk take him down too.

It’s self evident there is no investigation, and the deep state and media have no cards up their sleeves to take out Trump. What’s going on now is merely politics and the creation of narratives that they hope will win them elections, nothing more. Fortunately, it has been built in such a way that it is largely impotent (see Trump’s approval numbers) and very likely to backfire in a significant way. The media and the left in general are cunning but not intelligent.

Rosenstein has no idea what Meuller is doing or will do, but it has been leaked that the special counsel is looking into the Comey firing as obstruction of justice.

And we have no idea if the leak is real of Fake.

The bigger problem with that is, when one runs a story, the other two will run it citing the original, while putting their own spin on it. It gives them saturation coverage. Tuff to combat.
