You Won’t Believe Who Employed The “Former Soviet Counterintelligence Official” In Trump Meeting

Yesterday, NBC News ran a breathless and, as it turned out, dishonest story about a “former Soviet counterintelligence official” who was also in the now-famous meeting with Donald Trump, Jr. and Natalia Veselnitskaya, the lawyer who was banned from entering the United States but to whom, for some reason, the Obama Justice Department granted a special permission just in time for the meeting with Trump, Jr....

There is a problem with this story. Rinat Akhmetshin works for/with Fusion GPS. Take this March 31 letter from Senator Charles Grassley to then-acting deputy attorney general Dana Boente–that’s right March 31:

It is particularly disturbing that Mr. Akhmetshin and Fusion GPS were working together on this pro-Russia lobbying effort in 2016 in light of Mr. Akhmetshin’s history and reputation. Mr. Akhmetshin is a Russian immigrant to the U.S. who has admitted having been a “Soviet counterintelligence officer.”[14] In fact, it has been reported that he worked for the GRU and allegedly specializes in “active measures campaigns,”

It is highly troubling that Fusion GPS appears to have been working with someone with ties to Russian intelligence –let alone someone alleged to have conducted political disinformation campaigns– as part of a pro-Russia lobbying effort while also simultaneously overseeing the creation of the Trump/Russia dossier.

Which only serves to indict Jeb Bush and his abortive Republican Presidential Primary run all the more for originally hiring Fusion GPS to dig dirt on Donald Trump in the first place, only to then turn over the Jeb Bush campaign's ongoing oppo research for which they'd paid Fusion GPS to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Jeb Bush is the very image of a petulant, entitled little stompy-feet snot who was going to get Donald Trump no matter what. Don't you recall how utterly confident and snide he was, even after losing his primary bid and losing it badly, that Donald Trump would never be President? Ever wonder why this big baby was so very cocksure?

I don’t think most people have figured out yet why on earth the Dems would be pushing so hard on Donald Jr. I do know, from one of the President’s rally’s that Sr. and Jr. had discussed Jr. entering into politics. Sr. was not for it.

However, I do believe the DNC caught that comment and began watching Donald Jr.; and when this event occurred, and was exposed, the DNC jumped at the chance to take Donald Jr. down .. NOW .. before he had gotten anywhere with the idea of running for some office.

People may not agree .. that’s okay .. but I’ve seen Donald Jr. in action, and he’s dynamite. And, just look what he has going for him: Good looks, brilliant mind, articulate, AND .. he’s a ideological CONSERVATIVE. The DNC has every reason in the world to try to keep him out of politics.

I first saw Don Jr. speak right about the time the President first entered his campaign for the Presidency. I don’t remember the date, and I don’t remember exactly why Don Jr. was doing a standup Q & A (I believe for the media).

However, I was stunned at how competent he was in saying what he believed. He never hesitated to answer any question; he never stammered, etc. He just laid out the answer in a matter-of-fact way.

I was truly amazed .. and I’ve been a big fan ever since; and then to hear Donald Sr. mention that he and Don Jr. had been discussing the issue of Don Jr. running for office ...... THE LEFT WENT COMPLETELY WHACKO. I firmly believe that was when the left knew they better take Don Jr. out now - way before he gets organized and starts a campaign.

However, the LEFT didn’t allow for Don Jr. to get the message early enough that he would no longer be suckered into the left’s little games. The left has no clue how smart Don Jr. really is.
