President Trump created a stir amid his political opposition when he was reported to have told French first-lady Brigitte Macron: youre in such great shape. Apparently, according to the ever-pliable rules of the virtue signaling political left, it is sexist to compliment a woman on her physical appearance.
Of course it didnt take more than a news cycle for yet another corporate entity to jump head-first into the opportunity to attach their own brand-image to anti-Trumpism. [Adidas is the parent company of Reebok] The hypocrisy behind this opportunistic marketing endeavor/virtue-signaling is stunning. Heres the tweet from Reebok:
As you can see, Adidas/Reebok have made a political decision. Virtue signaling your superiority in defining what is/isnt appropriate is never a good look.

its very easy to stop buying that brand, for sure!
I also like their Brick & Mortar stores. Their staff seems to do a great job of ensuring a proper fit.
After I stopped buying Nikes I have bought the less expensive adidas. Reebok was never a consideration. I will now buy generic no names.
Reebok was never again purchased in my house after their lewd homosexual ad during the Super Bowl years ago. The ad depicted some guy bobbing his head in the bushes next to another guy as women jogged by. The next frame showed the guy in the bush tying his shoes or something. A real knee slapper.
We also switched to New Balance.
But it is harder to find them in stores nowadays, we will be loathed to buy from Amazon.........
Adidas and sport shoe makers know that blacks are their biggest customers. More blacks than any other demographic dislike Trump so this is a dollars and cents decision on their part.
I’m going back to Brooks running shoes.
But it might be smart marketing. Get the ghetto boys and "rappers" wearing your gear and soon the rest of pop culture America will be aping them.
Now, what does the American made, American based New Balance company have to say????
New Balance, all white low tops (perhaps the new balance “N” is blue). I pointed out to my sons that New Balance has captured the middle-aged white guy market.
Barron Trump was wearing New abalance the other day. Someone with better eyes than mine noticed it
New Balance has captured the middle-aged white guy market.
Damn. I thought I was finally being stylish.
Adidas does try to sell to African-Americans, but this is directed at an upscale market that's as likely to be White as Black, if not more so.
I guess a few inner city Black kids might see and like this campaign, but the real target is upper middle class college educated progressives.
Hilarious, given their abject hypocrisy.
Reebok has been using sex appeal to sell shoes for decades. What a moronic campaign.

Not to mention the rather obvious fact that conservatives buy shoes too. When will these guys learn? Starbucks, Nordstrom, and Target all suffered severe backlash. People don’t want political advice from companies that manufacture athletic shorts or coffee.
