Bob Atkins looked great for 72. He debunked most of the criticisms of his low carb diet. I have been low carb for 20 years. I look pretty good for 64.
Atkins fell on an icy sidewalk and suffered a serious head injury. That is how he died.

If you meant Atkins Diet, Dr. Robert Atkins slipped and fell on an icy NYC sidewalk, was knocked unconscious, fractured skull, in a coma for months, and finally passed away. Diet had nothing to do with it. In fact, the diet works.
