In what is surely an attempt by the Canadian state to make people fear the very idea of defending themselves and their families, a man has been charged with attempted murder after wrestling a gun from one of three armed home invaders and shooting one of them (non-life threatening injury).
Why is it that Canada (and other nations) are so determined to ensure that the population is unable to adequately protect themselves? Kyle Earl Munroe was at home with a friend when three armed intruders entered his home, he and the other man struggled with the intruders, Munroe managed to get a gun from one of the intruders, shots were fired and one of the intruders was hit. Munroe has now been charged with:
Attempted murder, intent to discharge a firearm, intent to discharge a firearm when being reckless, careless use of a firearm, improper storage of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing that possession is unauthorized, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Libereralmania striking yet again. Another reason not to visit Canada. You could be brought up on charges for absentmindedly doing something that’s okay/legal in the US but then, here too as well, the perp becomes the victim.
This is the likely conclusion of what a gun control state looks like. It won’t be long before the DAs in San Freakcisco charge someone for something similar.
Definitely the Lefties have broken from reality in this case.

We need to funnel all our illegals into Canada.
Canada appears to fully deserve them, and what they will do to Canada will shape how young people see Islam.

So when the guys in the red and blue caps come knocking at your door at 3 a.m. you go quietly? Just keep a suit case packed with your necessities by the door so you have it ready when they come. The State is not your enemy, you are the enemy of the State.

Apparently our illegal Haitians are showing up in Quebec province in large enough numbers that it’s causing problems up there. There was an article I saw about that here in the last week.

calling BS on story line of innocent law abiding citizen sitting at home and random guys break in and he wrestles the gun away and gets lumbered with all those charges.
