We will never see the 'Russian Ads' (Vanity)
self | 10/5/17 | self

Were the ads fake or real news? IF the ads were fake, we would have seen them on every media channel proving Killary was wrongfully tarnished. Politicians and media want the public to believe Russians were peddling fake news so that future news stories regardless of source are ignored. Facebook knows the ads were real news and doesn't want to kill the Democratic BS narrative.

I think the narrative is shifting from the claim that the Russian ads were "fake news" to the new claim that they were "divisive".

Still trying to find the actual crime that was committed here, even if Russians did buy ads on Facebook.

Imagine yourself as a Michigan crossover Trump voter...you voted for him because the left abandoned the working class...but oh no, the media says you voted for him because you were duped into it by a FB ad...IOW the media is calling you a moron.

The question before the body is: Did the Russian intelligence agencies meddle in the US elections. Clearly the answer is yes.

Is that a desirable event? Clearly the answer is no.

So, in the future, how can loyal American citizens avoid being duped by GRU and Putin trolls? One way is for the social media outlets, like Freerepublic.com, for example, to take greater pains to scour their membership to isolate which posters are actually Russian trolls.

Seems like a fair request.

Still waiting for the first Clinton voter who was tricked into voting for Trump.

So you like the idea of Putin introducing political advertisements for and financing Antifa and Black Lives Matter? Cause that’s what he’s doing. Every time some anonymous troll says “Soros is financing this or that... “ look again, because often as not it’s Putin, not Soros.

His goal is to radicalize and thereby weaken or destroy our society. To tolerate this internet activity is to help Putin. Maybe that doesn’t bother you. It bothers me.

Yup. I don’t think it was reported here, but Blacktivist was the name of users (tied to Russia) on both twitter and facebook that were strong BLM supporters.

Exclusive: Fake black activist accounts linked to Russian government:

I can understand why the ‘investigative committees’ wouldn’t be in a hurry to let that info. out.

He’s financing left-wing kooks and right-wing kooks alike. The Russian intelligence agencies are trying to destroy the comity of the public space in America (and many, many other free countries) and so far doing a very good job of it.

I need some help.

I hear about the question of foreign nations wishing to have certain people in charge of the US for their advantage. We wish the same thing. For instance, we would love to have someone more relegated to working with us rather than threatening us in North Korea. So how can we accomplish this? We can openly root for the ones we want. And except for the full figures, we would be nothing more than cheerleaders, not players. Cheerleaders do not play the game.

So what difference does it make, since they can’t get into the voting booth, and didn’t change a single vote using a hack? The people voted that could, and the Russians didn’t. Where was the process changed? And CNN admits these “adds” were directed to Michigan and Wisconsin. And according to a DNC insider for her campaign in a Wash Post article, she lost them because she didn’t work much there.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/06/01/ex-dnc-aide-hits-back-hard-at-clinton-says-her-campaign-ignored-its-data-on-michigan-pennsylvania-wisconsin/?utm_term=.d53e7b3cfd16

So even though we do this ourselves, like India during the Obama administration, and we have freedom of speech here in the US to include foreign nations, what is illegal about it?

Would Hilary be overjoyed that a foreign nation wants her in the seat enough to say so? Wouldn’t anybody? And countries like Sri Lanka, China, some middle east countries and Latin America were openly assisted by CNN to be opinionated.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/25/opinions/who-in-world-supports-trump/index.html

So what’s the big deal? I have to look at this as another BS attempt to discredit Trump with nothing at all. And no one so far has displayed anything else.

I heard a description of one of the Jill Stein ads (supposedly paid for by the Russians), and I just about died laughing at the notion that the ad was evidence of Russians "hacking" the election.

It was something to the effect of "If you vote for a Republican or a Democrat, you'll just get what you always have. Vote different. Vote Jill Stein! She can win!"

Is it Russians, or Democrats... It’s not easy to tell. -Anyway it surprised me that this is what the committees were finding on Russian interference. It’s not the victory that the Dems had in mind.

You nailed it. The only reason to hide the ads now is to save the Russia narrative from death by derision.
