That is the worst way to find an attorney.

Female? Victim. Winner.
Male? Screwed.
Child? Lose.

That is $1000 please. Donate it to FR.

If you are a male, you’d better lawyer up. Find a father’s rights attorney. Otherwise you will be paying up the ying yang in matriarchy, errrr I mean “child” support.

My husband knows now! He foolishly went into a new York state divorce court without a lawyer because she “agreed” to go to mediation sans attorneys. What a mistake that was! He’s still paying for it 14 years later with no end in sight. She obviously lawyered up. I’m doing what I can to reverse the damage (”child” support goes to 21 here and beyond)

Go to the Nevada Bar Association website www.nvbar.org. From there you can search for family law attorneys and view their disciplinary history.

You want to look up what ever group you are in, father, mother, grandparent, sibling, there should be a advocacy group that you can contract. If there is more then one, contact them all. Find out who they would use and that is your starting point.

This is not legal advice but my experience. Ask yourself how much are you willing to spend to reduce your child support. We spent over $12,000 fighting over her ex’s not wanting to pay. It was all agreed on $500/month but then he tried to fight it. He ended up paying $450/month and that cost him over $6,000.

they have formula to reduce support payments based upon how much custody time each party will receive.

If it’s custody over bad parenting, then good luck with whatever help you can find.

Call the local or state bar, not someone from the phone book.

They will go maternity every time no matter what she’s done/doing, short of her selling the children.

Sorry.

I hired Susan Sakio in the late 90’s in Vegas and “won” but my sons mom made it an easy case.
