Footage reportedly captured in London this month reveals a bystander take action after witnessing an apparent crime.
When an approaching motorcycle rider allegedly snatches a pedestrian’s purse, the man jumps from the sidewalk to knock him from the bike.

If it’s Britain, the knocker-offer gonna be arrested and charged with causing bodily harm.
The same applies in blue states.
Pretty good takedown of the passenger though. Too bad he didn't get his neck broken hitting the ground. Looks like the purse got left behind too... at least that what looks like is left on the street.

That’s a cut-and-dry case in (once-)Great Britain. Here in Texas too, the guy would be charged for the take-down, since he didn’t finish the job by plugging him a few times.

LOL Yep. To make a long story short I saved a black lady’s life once on public transport in a “Blue” city. Coughing and sputtering the woman hugged me and I hugged her back.
A very lawyerly looking man then patted my back and said:
“Wow, that was amazing! Are you a doctor, my friend? What’s your name?”
It was obvious.
I smiled and left the (public transport) many stops early, zig-zagging around ‘til I felt comfortable getting back to my commute.
