I was just surfing around curious as to what DUmmie leader Skinner's (David Allen) wife Shelly Moskwa was up to. As you know she was a treasurer for one of Hillary Clinton's committees but since that Hillary money has dried up (for now) what is Shelly Moskwa up to? Keep in mind they need to keep up mortgage payments for their fancy Maryland home. Well, it turns out Shelly is back to her old gig but for a Yo-Yo Man "exploring" a congressional run in my neck of the woods in South Florida.

When Ken Russell was running for City of Miami Commissioner in 2015 #NotifyMiami highlighted the thousands in contributions that he received from developers. Furthermore, we highlighted that he along with Teresa Sarnoff, whom he ultimately faced in the City of Miami District 2 run-off election for Commissioner, before she conceded to him, were the only two candidates that did not support the Public Financing System option when questioned by Engage Miami. Clearly, Ken Russell, the candidate had no issue accepting thousands from corporate interests, while indicating that he did not support (thumb down), "Starting a Public Financing System for city races and limiting outside big money donation." Both on record and not progressive at all.
While campaigning in 2015 he acknowledged that as a constituent he had not voted in a municipal election in over 10 years. On his campaign website for City Commission he states the following about being a businessman, “If you can believe it, we sold half a billion yo-yos in 90 countries as a promotional marketing tool for Coca-Cola.” Clearly, Ken Russell had no issue in not exercising his basic local civic duty as a constituent; while he was selling 500 million units of plastic made toys as a promotional tool to market sugar-based drinks to millions of kids around the world. Not voting in local elections and marketing plastic made toys to get millions of kids to drink more Coke products is not progressive at all.
Ken Russell is currently exploring running for Congress in District 27 as a Democrat after only serving half of his four-year term as a City of Miami Commissioner. He has recently hired a Washington, D.C firm full of former staff members from Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign and also lists her former 2008 Presidential campaign treasurer, Shelly Moskwa, as the treasurer for the Russell For Congress Exploratory Committee. According to The Intercept article, Shelly Moskwa benefited from Clinton’s Hill PAC, which “was used primarily as a slush fund to subsidize Clinton’s presidential campaign, using money raised outside of the limits that apply to the campaign itself, rather than as a fund to support other candidates,” said Brendan Fischer, a campaign finance expert at the Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan group that supports campaign finance reform.”
While in office (a non-partisan post) he has aligned himself with the Democratic Party and its insiders, was an elected delegate for Hillary Clinton at the 2016 Democratic convention, and has spoken at several events organized by the Miami-Dade and Florida Democratic Party. A stepping stone for higher office is often leveraged by politicians, and for Russell it seems the City Commission might be that step. But based on his record above, Ken Russell is the corporate Democrat next door.
BTW, although Ken Russell is a big bucks Democrat politician and hasn't even bothered to vote in local elections for years, I have to admit I am impressed by his Yo-Yo skills which you can see highlighted in this VIDEO.
As someone who never got much beyond the "walk the dog" stage of Yo-Yos as a kid, I have to admit to being impressed by the skills of the Yo-Yo Man. Perhaps he should stick with Yo-Yos instead of his latest campaign scam.
