“it was revealed that allegations that he had abused his two ex-wives were standing in this way of his permanent security clearance.”

Why? What the Hell does that have to do with a security clearance?

A lack of emotional discipline is a character flaw. How would such a person react to slights or reverses in their job? A desire for revenge against an employer sometimes results in espionage.

Good catch. Allegations alone from exes have nothing to do with it, although exes are contacted for other reasons. That is, unless policies for background checks and clearances have been changed to commit libel in records. But man-haters have caused many to be fired from jobs with the feminist trademark tactic of taking false accusations to bosses and the general public (directly committing libel). Porter's resignation was a result of that.

And of course, Porter has nothing to do with Hicks' resignation.

Blackmail, unresolved legal problems, etc

Nothing. Why should Trump care if a man likes to abuse women? Security clearance shouldn’t be based on behavior outside of work.

Spousal abuse in the military was the number one way to lose your top secret clearance. I was in the Army Security Agency. Watched even a First Sgt get removed and sent over to an infantry unit because the MPs were called to his house on a domestic disturbance.

Whose ex-wives? Kushner has only been married once, to Ivanka.

You’ve never had a clearance, or you wouldn’t ask that.
