Excactly. Or the deep, dark state has the _goods_ on Sessions. The all seeing eye will spill the beans if you come against it.

They're keeping their powder dry until they cast the net over these bad guys.

Why does everyone think Sessions, or Trump for that matter, need to announce to the world via the media what they're up to? Trump has publicly stated he doesn't telegraph his intentions in negotiations.

I think the apparent dustups between Trump and Sessions every so often, are intended to distract the media and get them to like and support poor, little Jeff.

If it is exposed by the IG report that the FBI ponied up a phony and opposition-paid-for dossier to the FISA court as justification to spy on the Trump campaign and presidency, then all bets are off.

And I'm guessing Trump already knows the answer to that question. He already knows the outcome. There will be some heads roll and indictments in the intelligence Swamp.

Mueller's investigation-in-search-of-a-crime would all be tainted and any indictments so far shouldn't be difficult to get thrown out of court by a decent lawyer.

There's just too much smoke for there not to be something going on under the radar that the public and media don't know about.

So everyone waits for Horowitz's DOJ IG report. Leaks already say that McCabe is going to be burned by it.

Trump IS a fool letting Mueller have his head and no major initiative on Hillary and Obama. When Mueller announces a minor infraction and calls for an indictment of trump it will be too late for trump to go after democrat criminals.

Maybe it is all a ploy. Knowing the socialist press will fight for the Clinton crooks and the token president from Kenyan the Republicans are setting up a secret case showing the irrefutable facts that Miss Piggy and BOzo are traitors.

Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention.

Your claim that Mueller could go after Trump for Obstructing Justice puts you in good company.

Eric "The Red" Holder said the same thing today.

You are kidding. Right? Trump isnt playing chess. He isnt even playing checkers.

Nobody is keeping their powder dry. They aren’t going after the swamp. They arent going after Clinton.

Nothing will happen.

Greg Jarrett said on Hannity on Friday that Session is not even running the AG office. Hannity said he heard the same. What a disaster Sessions is who Mark Levin pushed for!

I got the link from another thread here on FR. Kind of long but very simple to follow and enlightening.

At least it allows for a credible, logical alternative reason why things aren't what they at first appear nor are they necessarily how the media portrays them.

I just don't believe Sessions is doing nothing, as many on this site suggest. For one, he's not going to make announcements about the progress of any investigations. We don't know what he's doing exactly but I don't interpret that to mean that he is doing nothing, like many assert.

I think too many people focus on what Trump says about Sessions rather than how he handles Sessions.

Trump may say one thing, but that doesn't mean he wants Sessions gone. Watch his actions. Trump would have fired Session long ago if he were a real problem. Instead, Trump has not done so. For a reason. He needs Sessions.

Which tells me he has Sessions doing something under the radar and the public feuds between the two are just red meat for the media, not real squabbles about Sessions' ability to do his job.

Well then, I guess we can all turn off the lights and go home.

It's over.

Isn't that what he is doing? Doesn't matter that there is no case. Hell, there was no crime when the Special Council was appointed. It's all a sham.

I don't get the 'good company' reference.

Personally, I’m through with Sessions.

He needs to be replaced by an aggressive AG who will do his job.

A year in, and all the main players in the little coup attempt are still walking around free.

A year in, and with the dossier being PROVEN as BS, Mueller is still doing his fishing expedition - so much so that the POS Eric Holder is making predictions.

We won the election, but evidently elections DON’T have consequences, except when the Enemy Of The People Party (D) seize control.

That’s right. And to those still clinging to the “distractions! All will soon be revealed!” scenario: Seriously? How long are you willing to wait before you realize that there aren’t going to be any revelations for Hillary, Brennan, Obama, Holder, Lynch, Rice, Comey and the rest of the criminal gang?

As for the IG scorching McCabe: BFD. They’ll gladly sacrifice McCabe if it satisfies the masses and covers for those who are truly guilty.

"....I don't get the 'good company' reference....."

It means you may be listening to the fake news media so much about what is going on, that you have taken the same position as the far Left, crooked, ex-AG Eric Holder.

It should give you pause that you may be on the wrong track if liberals like Holder, are agreeing with your own your conjecture that Mueller will get Trump for Obstructing Justice.

Just my view.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
/////////////////

So true! If I knew then what I know now. What did we know then? Sessions, like Trump was strong on enforcing immigration law and tough on crime so that was a good fit. Trump owed Sessions for his early, vociferous, and unwavering support. Seemed like a great reward for Sessions. In normal times its a good decision. Trump had decided after winning, that he was going to heal the nation and would not go after Hillary or make war with the left, he was going to implement his program, MAGA and win reelection. He then got blindsided with the deep state democrat coup and the Russian collusion bullshit. He now needed a strong ideologue prosecutorial AG ready to ruthlessly go after the democrats and their deep state accomplices. Sessions timid recusal on the Russia probe would have been appropriate 40 years ago when we were still a semblance of a constitutional republic, but absurd after 8 years of Eric Holder, and Loretta Lynch. It wasn’t like we hadn’t seen this movie. Sessions recusing was analogous to trading you Queen for a pawn in a chess game, leaving the king naked without protection and not having sufficient firepower to attack the enemy.
The past year of Russia, Russia, Russia nonsense has been a direct result of of an absurdly naive decision made without consulting the person who had just hired you to do the job. Sessions, made a personal decision that the entire nation has been punished for without consulting the man just elected by 60 million people to drain the swamp. My animosity towards Jeff Sessions knows no bounds

K. I would like to think that in matters of this
magnitude Sessions would be getting all his ducks
in a row before he starts picking them off.
Just hoping the he’s close to opening fire.
