No, seriously, this is an important question. Its like in a failing marriage: if things are beyond repair, after youve tried everything and nothing seem to work anymore, every day is exactly the same (nagging and fighting over any minute detail)and all that, its better for both spouses to go their separate ways, dont you think? The marriage example in Californias case is pretty accurate, as the former Golden State is now boasting its open defiance against the law of of the land, in this case federal immigration laws. Californias defiant behavior finally determined that sleepy elf also known as AG Sessions to do something about it, i.e. the DOJ filed a lawsuit, which blocks Californias sanctuary state laws. The purpose of the lawsuit is to establish once and for all that sanctuary jurisdictions are unconstitutional.

I think the Democrats tried this before. Didn’t go well.
YES! The other 49 states should get to vote on this issue.
Give it to Lil’ Kim in Korea.
Call it East Korea and let the Commiefornians live that utopian dream.
Could we simply vote them off the island, why wait for secession - they can do a lot of damage to the country while we wait. Oh, and they only get to take part of the coastal area, not the whole State- and not San Diego, we get the city and the port.
It’s time to jail California’s lawless politicians.
No.
Only the following counties: San Francisco, Santa Clara, Marin, Alameda, Los Angeles.
They can go.
Looks like POTUS might have another wall to build. ;o)
Agreed!
The California Peso will be worth less than the Mexican version.
build a wall around California, and then a mile wide mind field. We could then jam any radio or television broadcasts, and don’t allow any of their movies be shown anywhere.
So, I vote yes, let them become their own hostile country.
Support the #TEXIT initiative and TNM.
Please?
Just go, California.
Just imagine it!
55 Democrat electors and 53 Representatives, mostly Democrat, to re-distributed among the states!
Two less Democrat senators.
Yes, go! Do it. AMF. Vaya Con Dios!
Sorry, the whole state goes.
And pay their share of the $20T national debt.
With all the illegals and boondoggles, expect that in the $19T+ range.
Oh, and on the way out, pay their share of the unfunded liabilities too.
Give them San Francisco, keep the beaches and the 55 EC votes ;)
Initial answer.....Absolutely - 1000% - YES
If those color-coded, election maps are to be believed, area wise, most of that state goes Republican. I’m sure there are others on FR, that are for more knowledgeable about the place than I am, but it always seem like the area from LA County north to Sacramento is what causes most, if not all, of the problems. So, what to do with all those good people? It’d be nice if there were a way to swap all of them out for radical left wing, loonies in other cities and places around the country. If the Left and it’s ilk can make such a perfect utopia with their progressive ideas, illegal immigrants, muslims, refugees, gangs, etc, let them prove it.
I think if there were a way to carve out that piece of real estate and send it on it’s way, let kick this pig.
In an ideal world a mile long and very deep channel should be dug around that area, so they can truly be independent. Put 2 or 3, heavily guarded bridges and fill the channel with rabid, blood thirsty sharks to deter any channel crossers.
Dismantling this Republic by getting California to secede is one of George Soros’ most cherished goals. I am troubled by how many people on this board would be willing to help him with that.
Start with the current state attorney general that defies US laws and openly admits his family includes and harbors illegal alien family members. Arrest and deport them.
Arrest the Oakland mayor
Those are two, for starters.
Truly end catch-and-release by starting to arrest any illegal alien in found in the state.
